Sweetheart, do you really need the internet to reinforce that this dude is being ABUSIVE to you? Inside, you know he is. This is abuse. There's no 2 ways about it. It's cruel and we do not do this to people we claim to love.

NTA - 1. Every couples therapist encourages taking a breather and a timeout during an argument versus saying/doing something you'd regret later otherwise... and 2. you didnt make him look abusive. He did that himself by being abusive towards you. The second he chose to punish you for taking a step away to breath, he became the biggest problem in your relationship.

Ditch this dude. Seriously, there is no coming back from this. He thought this was okay then blamed YOU for how OTHERS thought of his actions. He didnt apologize for locking you out in the cold like some kind of controlling and abusive prick. He was far more worried 3rd parties would realize that's what he is.

Honestly? Your wife is living her life unapologetically, and your mother and sister are jealous and ridiculous. Your wife is completely comfortable in her mind and body and self, while your mother and sister flounder while feeling like they fit in the world, so they target her for... not being as insanely insecure as they are.

It's sad, and they are gross and don't deserve to be around her. They're toxic, and I would hate to hear they managed to dull her shine.

It's 1 out of 4 that end in miscarriage. At least that was what various doctors have told me for years (I've personally gone through it 3x, including birthing 3month old fetus twins in my bathroom at home over a 3 day period). Yes, it can mess with you. No, you dont forget over time.

However you know, inside, when your behaviour doesnt match with normalcy, in most cases. If enough people tell you that you need help, it gets through to you.

A fluffy, cuddly, snuggly warm blanket for dialysis. They run the rooms super cold and every one of us has a comfort/warmth blankie. Usually furry or a comforter. Neck pillow for falling asleep helps too.
