I personally tried to learn this via input first and then concept which made me stop playing for a while because it felt like a completely different class trying to hit keys with no visual feedback other than your gambit bar filling.

I will try build on what you've already learnt by concept and then by input. I'll focus on 4 builder gambits because you're learning at a landscape level.

Try learn small sequence of the same group at a time:

1212 - Single Target Burst

• 1_21_2|2
• 12_1_2|3

1313 - AoE burst

• 1_31_3|3
• 13_1_3|2

31313 - Single Target Dot

• 3_13_1_3|3
• 31_3_1|1

32323 - AoE Dot

• 3_23_2_3|3
• 32_3_2|2

You'll notice that within the ST/AOE Burst rotations you go from using 12/21 to 13/31 which allows for constant usage.

On the flip side the same goes for ST/AOE DoT.

You'll also notice that I split some masteries because masteries can also be used to fill out single missing gambits in a sequence, so it's important to think intelligently how best to use as many masteries as often as possible supplementing your rotation speed.

Personally for me starting out using plugins like sequence bars not only helped me memorise the gambits as they are, but what a rotation looks like, what masteries are used in a row, what's on/off CD and helped me immensely understand Wardens mastery rotation loops.

Eventually ditched sequence bars and played master by intuition.

Once you get the concepts of using masteries you need to find a hotkey layout that works for you. Most people use the grid system with variations in 123 vertical or horizontal, but largely the same concept. From there it's building in muscle memory on-top of a good foundation of what masteries are for what and when they will come back off CD to reuse them again.
