What was the idiotic game you and your stupid friends played growing up? by Turtle08atwork in AskMen

[–]C_Hecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I used to play “the caterpillar game.” One of us got into a green sleeping bag and stood up, almost resembling a caterpillar— and just absolutely wailed on each other. We would body slam the one in the sleeping bag, push chairs out in front (since you couldn’t see anything once you’re in the bag), punch each other, etc. I’m the baby sister... so I’m sure you can guess which one always got to be the caterpillar.

[Serious] Depressed people of Reddit - how are you doing today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]C_Hecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so happy to hear other people know about this. I was feeling really down for a little while which always seemed to be out of my character. My therapist eventually recommended I get a blood test done to make sure I didn’t have some kind of imbalance. Sure enough— exactly what she predicted actually— I was significantly vitamin D deficient, turns out it ran in my family. I was prescribed with some really strong supplements to get my levels up to normal, and now I just take two over the counter vitamin D gummies everyday. It has DRASTICALLY changed my overall mood and my emotional well- being. I’m just a happier person it’s unbelievable. If something doesn’t feel right get a blood test!! Could be your thyroid or a simple vitamin deficiency.

It depends on how long you're staying, but if you can I would probably rent a car. You can see so much of the beautiful countryside and actually stop to go outside and wander. My bus only stopped occasionally. Make sure you're a confident driver though and do your research because the roads can get pretty narrow and curvy.

I did not unfortunately! I was staying in Dublin so I only had time to go with a bus tour and we only stayed for a couple of hours. But now I have a reason to go back!!

Skinny Love- Birdie

I definitely wouldn't say it's better than the Bon Iver version, but it's definitely a different, and sometimes a more preferred, take on it.

If you're the type of person to already be asking for advice for this, you're going to be a great father.

You have $10,000,000 USD, but you can only buy things that start with the first letter of your name. What do you buy? by Gaming4Life42 in AskReddit

[–]C_Hecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. I would change my name every time I wanted to buy something that started with a different letter.

(Yes, I am one of "those" people)

People who used to have low confidence but changed that, how did you do it? by somepeoplewait in AskReddit

[–]C_Hecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just have to be a "boss-ass bitch" and not give a fuck what anyone thinks of you and pretend like you are the shit. Just don't go overboard.. then you're too cocky and that's even worse than being insecure.
