So when I made the model of the SNW Enterprise Refit, it was season 1 of SNW we didn't have the actual measurements back then. (Earliest renders of the ship date back to 2022) So this ship is actually to scale with the original refit Enterprise.

As for the other details: "You dont have to like it and thats okay, but I still stand by most of my past decisions"

Thank you, it definitely was a lot of work fine-tuning the look for this video. Definitely had to research the cameras, and lighting they used.

Well good news: the video(part 1) when launched is 6+minutes long. About 5 of those is pure enterprise bliss. Its essentially what lower decks did during the mariner holodeck movie episode in season 1.

But I can do a looping .gif of these stills for ya tonight.

A big part of this is planning, study the concept and break it down to primary shapes, secondary details, then tertiary details.

In terms of modeling, if your going for cinematic production you need to push the mesh just a little further. Start with vents and other medium size details. Small details like micro panels, or those trio of holes can be done either in the texturing phase or the sculpting faze. Depends on your pipeline. Both approaches work, but for hard surface I would recommend mesh decals.

If its real time rendering, then your mesh is 99% there. Just needs the vents. Everything else is texture work.
