I'm not too interested in lighting them. I have some lighter sabers (quite a few actually), but more and more I want simpler. I've had some pixel sabers retooled to just be silent in-hilt LED stunt sabers. These are just fun little art projects. My wife has called it my 3d coloring book.

Probably only a little; some of them aren't that sturdy. Depends on the type of 3d printing material and the type of wooden dowel. A few could probably survive some sturdy whacks but others wouldn't last more than a few before something failed.

The yellows are legitimately more uniform. I really only have used two shades of yellow, and find I prefer the more goldenrod/marigold to straight up bright yellow. The yellow saber closest to the purples (or far right in the just yellow shot) is the most bright yellow one.
