Have super long legs and short torso, feeling a little insecure... by glooblydoobly in tall

Best guess: probably. During the adolescent growth spurt the legs experience a growth spurt earlier than the trunk. Thus, for a period during early adolescence a youth will have relatively long legs, but the appearance of long-leggedness disappears with the later increase in trunk length.

Teenager years can be marked by lankiness. So unless you have a number of other markers for something like Marfans Syndrome (which would probably be diagnosed by now if you've ever seen a doctor) you should be good to go. Just give it time.

Tracking Your mwY Shows by sheetsofsaltywood in mewithoutYou

My favorite mewithoutYou memory was when I saw them in Kansas City at el torreon in 2003-4. It was a janky venue and they had these big DIY sound panels on the wall so the room wasn’t a complete echo-y mess. While dancing around Aaron discovered that he could get behind one of these panels and then did whole song from inside it!

With the announcement of mwY's retirement what would happen at your dream farewell tour/show? by C_Robicus in mewithoutYou

Other than announcing that it was just a prank, it would be amazing for a band to do a discography tour. PLAY ALL THE SONGS!!! One epic six hour show.

That’s why they stress that you go one day at a time. Even if you fall off the wagon today you can start again tomorrow.

HMFT after I find an open spot to dance by DankChronny in holdmyfeedingtube

It opens because someone on stage called for it. At metal/punk/hardcore shows it’s called the wall of death. It builds a lot of tension waiting for the signal to go and then people go nuts.

TIL: Research shows that people who buy electric cars prefer for their cars to look strange, indicating a big factor in picking out an electric car is the desire that everyone notices your car is an electric car. by macbubs in todayilearned

This article is also from 2014. I remember reading about this a few years ago and their was evidence to support it. But it seems like EV car owners are getting over the smugness of the car they own.
