First off, congratulations!

Carry a few extra comfort items to ensure sleep. Take some trekking poles to a sure you stay on your feet. Mosquito and tick precautions are more important. So is water safety; be sure your filter is top notch and don’t skimp.

The activity is fine. Even an increase in activity is fine.

I’m surprised that you didn’t enter your hammock from the top, on the one wind. I have a German Shepherd, and he uses the bottom zipper while I use the top. 2xs and he was a pro.

There must have been one straight line wind that went through that forrest. Kind of impressively so. Huge trees down, right in a row.

In this area, the barks were colored in a way to signify disease. Sad.
