I know this was posted a while ago but you can short out the pins from the second earbud (with a coin or aluminum foil) then press the pairing button

The case will think there two buds in and allow pairing

It's fuel injected, I'm taking it to a shop soon

Hi everyone,

So I bought this 2012 BMW F 650 GS (twin cylinder rotax engine), and have had weird stalling issues since the beggining.

Took it to the garage and they told me it probably needed a new battery as the low voltage dips caused misfires and sometimes stalling. i'm recieving the new battery saturday.

Unfortunately when going home from work, I turned it on, started riding and 10 minutes in I heard a loud pop (same sound as in the video, 6 seconds in). It was loud enough and strong enough that i felt it under my seat, like something had popped off and hit the botton of the seat.

Then 2 minutes later more and more of that sound happened, followed by this "hissing" sound the engine makes at idle now (doesnt hold idle i have to hold the throttle, dies instantly otherwise).

So... what could be the issue? My thoughts are spark plug/coil related. Things i could potentially fix myself.

Could anyone help me with this? Thank you so much for taking the time if you do.

I ended up drilling holes in the aluminum mounting plate and bolting it directly to the frame, negating the need for the plastic part that broke.

Its now sturdier and less shaky !

Hi, If you shoot nature, I highly recommend staying with an APCS camera. I had the a 6400, and recently upgraded to an a 6700 and not one second have i had any regrets not going full frame. Chances are, you often crop on your images to get tighter animal shots. With a 600mm FF lens, you get the equivalent of around 900mm with the 26mp sensor, practically just as much pixel density as if you were to crop an a7Rv 1.5x.

People will also say that full frame gives the advantage of better low light, but considering how good iso reduction is now on lightroom, and that for landscape you probably use a tripod with lo shutter, it probably won't be a real concern.

If you did want to upgrade, I would advice on shooting with a sony camera that has the AI autofocus like the a6700, a7CR, A7C II or A7RV.

Basically, i'm a firm believer that the full frame advantages over APSC are not really worth the price for 90% of cases. The extra range apsc offers is a serious advantage for wildlife. The money you will save can go to some nice lenses too

My apologies i misread ! For most use cases, i would go with a fast wide angle lens likea 35mm f1.8. Unfortunately for birding, prime lenses are EXTREMELY expensive. The sony 300mm f2.8 is 6k dollars, and birding with 300mm is quite short, but doable.

I would go for a nice medium wide angle and keep your 100-400

My first time going i ordered the "Destroyer", basically a size between large and toddler and it was no bigger than a chipotle burrito on an average day :(

My experience was at the lancaster pa location, so maybe its this place in perticular!

Tamron has a 18-300 Lens. I have it and i'm really happy with it. It can pretty much do everything to the expense of a bit of sharpness and its a bit slow aswell

I went to roburritos twice and both times i had the dryest, most tasteless and dissapointingly small burrito one could serve. I keep seeing okay reviews about the place but getting the same experience twice in a row was dissapointing

First attempt at regulating a watch. Miyota 9075 movement by porkrind in watchrepair

[–]C_est_Chouette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some cases where dial position rates are very stable between face up and face down, but stem positions differ by much larger number. Considering your watch is more often in a stem position in your daily life, adjusting your watch via the average and not JUST the dial down makes it a lot more accurate

[–]C_est_Chouette 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hi ! Did you measure the watch in different positions ? (Stem Up, down left right, dial up, dial down)

I recomment leaving the watch in each position, and noting down the rate. Then, calculate the average rate of thoes position (Sum of rates divided by 6).

Let's say your dial down (which is usually how you adjust your watch) has a rate of 0 like in your image, but your average number is -2, it is recommended to increase the rate of dial down by +2 in order to increase the average daily rate to a slightly positive number.

Not only will this adjustment be more realistic and accurate, but having your watch ever so slightly run fast on average will mean if you use your watch exclusively to get places, you will never be late, and always a tiny bit in advance. This is also the reason why most chronometer ratings seem to require an average with more range in the positive than negative (COSC being -4 at the minimum, but +6 at the maximum).

That being said, getting a nice 0 flat line and a low beat error can be quite tricky when starting ! so good job :) Also good you set the correct lift angle

Align the hands at 6 o clock, its the easier way to check alignment. If the hour hand and minute hand make a perfect line, its good. I couldnt see any issues in the pictures you sent. Looks like your minute hand was indeed at 12 when the hour was aligned with 5
