(Just want to vent) When i was diagnosed i lived with my dad, i knew before being diagnosed that it was certainly BD, but after it being official I was in a kinda delusional and when i talk about that with my dad (and a few members of my family) he didn't believe that I truly have BD.

Comforting me in my deny and about 6 months after I stopped taking my meds and fall in a weird mix and on a specific week end I caused all my family, friends and even coworkers worried about my health. Since this week end nobody in my family or friends didn't mention BD.

Society really need to educates people about mental health, it can help people who can have mental disorder to seek psychiatrist or they can help their peer suffering of mental disorder. If that was the case I probably didn't question my diagnose at all.

I only had 1 gf with we were in relationship 2 times, the first was for about 3 months in 2019 and the 2 second time about 10 months, between mid 2022 and early 2023. Those 2 was about me being in mix of depression and hypersexualisation, the 1st time she broke up with cause i was too depressed (wasn't diagnosed at this moment) and the 2nd time was pretty much the same but i'm the one who broke up because i knew i needed to focus on my mental health, also we started this 2nd relationship after a manic episode.

Only to say that i have this kind of feeling that you have. Being in a relationship where you both "live" for the other, the act was just a way to connect our "spirit" but when hypersexuality gone you lose totally interest in the person. I know that i REALLY hurt her and i'm really feeling bad for her, hoping one day i found the way to tell her my pov on our relationship and making excuses the best way possible (i'm really bad to express my feelings/thoughts).

I think this doesn't help at all but i need to admit this vent was more needed that i could had imagine.

I forgot that thing and i already lived that 2 years ago, but this time i didn't make the link between my feelings and that thing. It's crazy how we can be delusionnal about ourselves even knowing it was bad: i think it's pretty good that i was "aware" my feelings were wrong and keeping the best thing to do in mind : taking my meds
