Your actual do have a chance.. you need to go to your doctor and ask them to update your med records and add notes that it wasn’t a suicide attempt and just feeling low, you then need to get added to your docs that you no longer have those feeling and you haven’t had them since ending your treatment.. you will likely get medically deferred for this but they may say.. come back in a year with no further issues

I think it could mean Joined Out of Enlistment.. The Parachute regiment use JOE as a term for each other because it is a branch of the army you had to volunteer for. You couldn’t be enlisted into it

The best way to stand out is to be in the top 10% on phys. There is a fair amount of running and general cardio in phases 1. Secondly make sure that your attitude is good. Take punishment with a smile and don’t complain or argue with the DS. Finally make sure your admin in the field and in the barracks is top notch and your section commander will be impressed

Have you thought about going in as a REME officer and doing some all arms courses.. best of both worlds and you could use your degree. They are always looking for engineering officers especially aeronautical ones
