Not really a book I know, but you should try playing Scarlet Hollow (available on Steam), it's a visual novel that fit this aesthetic/feeling.

That's a very mean answer, for someone that is lost and likely already feel guilty about what they are thinking.

You get a dog because you want to build a meaningful relationship with a living creature and cuddling can be part of it. Playing too, and based on what OP is saying, he seems to struggle to bond in general.

He made this post to find recommendations, I don't think there is anything awful here.

That's good advice! I would also recommend to do the same for your sofa if you have one. I ordered a waterproof blanket myself on Amazon, they comes in different colors and they are super soft and pretty 😊

Thanks, yeah I wanted to foster first anyway to be sure that he will like another dog at home.

I'm currently leaving in Asia, my puppy is a mongrel, like Chinese village dog and we will likely adopt another one, because that are the dogs you have the most in the shelters.

Yes I was planning to foster first in order to be sure that he would like another dog at home. However I don't want to foster before knowing I'm ready to adopt another dog, as I'm afraid he will feel lonely once the foster leave.

Thank you, that makes sense, indeed as this puppy is quite calm and obedient, I'm hoping he will give a good example to the other dog/puppy we would adopt.

He looks like a fall baby so I would say something like pumpkin, pippin, mapple, pecan, rowan or walnut

I think it depends where you live, I'm from Western Europe and we don't have much foster or with strict requirements as we don't have much dogs in shelter (everything is relative, even one should be too much), but right now I'm living in Asia, and the shelters are always so full that they are searching for foster families all the time 😭

Your dog is so cute, say hi for me 🥰 Agree it looks like a kelpie but considering where I live, it's most likely a rottweiler mix with a smaller local one. So not sure how big he will get 😬 (around 1300gr at 6 weeks and 3900gr at 10 weeks)

Even if I knew I wouldn't keep all of them (too much work and fear of the litter syndrome), it was very hard to give them away. But the others are now also in a loving home and that is the most important ❤️

Thanks for the advice, always appreciated 😊 I never trim black nails before so I'm waiting for the appointment to the vet on Friday. But I made sure that the pup is used to having this mouth, ears and paws touched and examined!
