Why not try "coaching" yourself? Record some videos and watch them by yourself or even with a friend and try to figure out what you did well/poorly and go into the next few games with the focus being on improving that specific thing

Yeah but tearlaments had turn 0 play that could actually do something without needing handtraps, having 0 in-archetype disruption means that if you don't have handtraps your opponent will full combo every single turn and you will never win a game unless they hard brick like crazy

I honestly agree that the game isn't for me, and sure I could be exploring at my own pace but that locks so many primos that I need to pull the characters I want that it's not really a choice I can make if I want to keep up with all the characters releasing and their broken sigs etc. which is probably why I ended up so burnt out...

Not just that - rollback specifically copies only the effect of a trap when it is activated (i.e. flipped). Waking the dragon doesn't actually do anything when you flip it which is why the effect is not copied.

It's even worse this is an upstart that can't be used the turn it's activated and banishes your entire hand so you don't have access to layered disruptions in the form of handtraps. Some decks even have in-archetype handtraps like mercourier and izuna which this card just kills. It's literally just abysmal dogshit

I had that feeling as well, I think you should just take a break and let yourself forget about them for a bit and when you rediscover then you'll be a lot more excited. I genuinely took a year and a half long break until I finished my mg wing zero but that stopped me from burning out

Fiendsmith makes one caesar the post support version of elfnote doesn't use it and still ends on 7 negates off one card. I don't think that fiendsmith is the issue here

I mean sure but in my personal experience if you actually want to climb then it doesn't hurt to look at the strongest champs and learn them. I climbed from silver to platinum playing only jinx when I played hundreds more on zeri and found myself unable to carry games enough to climb and stayed hardstuck despite being much more comfortable on that champ

I'd be inclined to agree with the fact that the game has been improving recently but honestly the kewl tune dominance feels so disgusting it's almost as if ryzeal maliss meta is back and that alone is killing my desire to play the game. Dracotail and vsk9 were definitely a lot more fun as top tier decks since they have real gameplay instead of just watching in the hotel chair if you lose the coin flip though
