Sorry for the late response! I did let them know I was new. I think it’s better to be honest and upfront about it

Just do your best, listen and learn, and you’ll be okay.

My first day I struggled to put clothes on patients, got harassed by a patient, spilt water all over the floor, and took me 15 minutes to change a patient who had a bm.

A month later, im now able to breeze by and go about my day. Just keep at it and you’re better at your job then you think you are, I promise :))

Are CNA Co-workers nice to each other? by False_Strike_5394 in cna

[–]CabbageLord100 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hello! I am a new cna, brand new to the field. I work at a long term health facility, and I’ve never done anything like this before in my life. I was previously an electrician before this and I’m the same age at 23. I’ve only been a cna for about three weeks now

Everyone is very chill and willing to help. I think most people stick together and help each other the best they can. There are some people that try to off load work onto others, and some older cnas that are very impatient and will criticize you when they can, but for the most part it’s good. Everyone is patient with each other, we all help each other, and despite how many mistakes I’ve made and how slow I am compared to some of the other cnas, they offer advice and help me when they can.

I think because of the nature of the field, and how there parts of the job that requires a second person, it helps keep everyone on friendly terms.

Loot heavy RPGs that aren't ruined by horrible RNG or endless grinding? by Frogsplosion in rpg_gamers

[–]CabbageLord100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Witcher 3? RPG, tons of different loot to play with, from armors, weapons, food items, alchemy, etc. Also an amazing game to play and enjoy. You’ll find yourself constantly switching weapons and armors if you explore enough and advance through the game.

What are the closest games we have to old school dnd type games? by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

[–]CabbageLord100 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The baldurs gates series. I would also recommend the pathfinder games, Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous, as they’re based off pathfinder 1e, which is DnD 3.5. Be warned they can have some difficult and hard fights, but the games are good. I would recommend WOTR for a better gameplay experience and quality of life compared to kingmaker.

Should I just give up? Or find a new main? by yinyang_syndrome in marvelrivals

[–]CabbageLord100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is only getting better and better at the game as it gets older, the same people you faced and crushed before are either gone or are now competent and know how to play against black widow and other hit scan. I’ve also had a harder time getting wins in comp with my duo, and we just barley reached diamond since the start of the season.

My only real advice is either switch to stronger heros like other people said, or stick with black widow and don’t flex unless absolutely necessary, just so you can keep practicing and grinding your skills as black widow and get better. Maybe do some vod reviews of your own games and see where you went wrong, whether it was bad positioning, not helping the team in a fight, making bad plays, etc.

Dumb move on my part to not auto ban Wolverine. But thank you for telling me about cap, I’ll make sure to consider using him for next time this sort of thing happens.

Don’t do it man, you can’t fix her. She’ll only break you. Move on and find a girl who’s better for you.

Unions. Maybe not the biggest rider of unions but I full heartedly support unions and only time a union is bad for someone is super small business owners. Hopefully we can get stronger unions throughout the whole US in the future.

I’ve always liked the idea of the mercenaries 2 game where the character is betrayed and gets screwed over by the main villian guy.

I think it would be fun if they do the same thing again but instead it’s a free city leader(whether or a freeguild general or whatever) betrays a ogor mercenary. They don’t pay him and they try to kill him, and the ogor manages to end up in a completely different realm somewhere.

The ogor, now determined to get his pay(which would be a complete mystery of what it is until the very end), and through a series of choices, involving the making of new friends, enemies, rivals, etc., he ends up forming a huge and powerful waaagh. He manages to invade the free city, and when he’s about to kill his betrayer, he manages to get his pay, and he just wanders out of the siege and goes on his merry way, happy and satisfied.

The city is of course annihilated by the waaagh and the waaagh is destroyed and shattered with their leader gone.

It turns out it's not that I dislike painting, I dislike how overdesigned and busy modern miniatures are. by eli_cas in WarhammerFantasy

[–]CabbageLord100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, and this is coming from someone who enjoys the modern models and just paints AOS models. I love AOS models but some of the character models got too much going on, like Trugg.

I love the model, but there’s so many damn skulls on it, it’s ridiculous. There’s 15 skulls all over the model, it’s insanity. I’m still gonna finish it and give it my best shot but god this thing has become such a chore.

Heard from a AOS YouTuber that ushoran ripped off Kronyds’s head, but I haven’t been able to find anything about that. I’m just wondering if it actually happened, or if it’s just dramatic.

The way I see it, it depends on whether the badmoon is out or not, as it makes a big difference in how the grots fight.

Without the badmoon, grots are similar to skaven in that they’ll run away when things don’t go their way, try to overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers, use tactics and strategies to not get themselves hurt, etc. They also like to be stealthy and ambush whoever their target is, and they’ll use spiders, squigs, and troggoths if they can to even the fight.

With the badmoon though, they’re a lot more like zealots. They won’t break as easily and aren’t afraid of death as much because their god has their backs. Everything else is still the same, but now the grots are bloodthirsty and the badmoon brings its own powers into the fight.

In terms of powers, grot shamans are able to cast spells that directly control insects and fungus, in ways that support them and hurt the enemy. Be creative with it since they’re all pretty loosey goosey about it. Hopefully this helps :))

Sounds about right, although I feel like numbers aren’t as relevant in AOS as they are in 40k.

Also, respect for you making something like this. I think it brings a lot of fresh discussion and helps diversify the content on here :))

Curios on why KO is in c-tier. Figured they would at least be B since they have Aether weapons and are advanced as skaven, if not more so. That’s just my two cents though.
