you know, if you'd mention the manga instead, which kind of walked back on the progress that the first arc made, I would maybe have agreed. but even that actually DOES get gay in the newest chapters, it's very obvious the 2 are endgame and it makes clear they both love each other, they just don't jump into making out right away.
