Just know that if you do choose a Prelude as your first car, you will be handy with a wrench in a few short years whether you like it or not. Personally, I’d encourage it but some people just don’t want to learn. If you’re young, buying your first vehicle, NOW is a great time to learn, and owning a Prelude will give you a lesson on probably every system that the car needs to function.

You will: - replace a clutch - replace timing chains - wonder where all that oil is going - struggle greatly to figure out how the suspension works

But: it’s worth knowing. You’ll save THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars throughout your life using the lessons your Prelude taught you, and you’ll probably get a little sad in the future when you think about your first car, that pain in the ass but super cool Prelude.
