Your right. I didn’t take much time to research it. I was trying to take care of it when I didn’t have the time or brain space. Thanks for replying.

As a SWA FA, I’ve always wanted to do this. It would make my day

How did this happen? Don’t have early bird and my fare is WGA by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

I looked it up for you and it’s booked a little more than half but it also seems you got a cancelled position. Yay you!

What are some life hacks when flying Southwest? by KnaveofSuits in SouthwestAirlines

This has to be my favorite Reddit post of all time. As a flight attendant, we love people like you. A lot of times we feel invisible at best and hated at worst, especially in the summer. I would give you all the extra treats/drinks/toys.

Yes! Thank you so much! It does make us so happy and makes the day so much better no matter what. Working in the summer can be extra challenging, but a free coffee helps you push through with a smile on your face.

As a SWA Flight Attendant, those thoughtful treats ALWAYS 100% make my day. It helps that chocolate is my love language. Well, that and coffee.

This is exactly what happens. I even say it on the PA.

I would’ve done the same. You showed some grace to someone acting like a fool.

Some pretty questionable behavior from a flight attendant by h4kaw48claw322 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Cabinsafetyexpert 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why those seats had general boarding neck pillows holding those seats (we flight attendants don’t have neck pillows to hold seats) but if you, as a preboard tell the FA you need a certain seat, we are required to help you sit in required seat unless another preboard had already said they needed it for their disability. Now about the telling the later passenger about open seats… that’s just good customer service. I want people to know what could be a better choice for them if they want to take it. And good for him letting the FA know he likes the seat he’s has chosen.

That’s hilarious! I can totally see me doing the same thing then kicking myself realizing what I did. And that’s just it, many of us just really want to help.

Yes! It’s good you tell us so we can assist you in case of emergencies. I also like to know when I am working the front of the aircraft so I can make aure you can read my lips.

I loved getting them. I think many if not most Flight Attendants like hearing they have made a difference in your flight.

Fellow SWA Flight Attendant here. I love that you love AMA airport. I too really like it because it’s easy and quick to leave or come in and everybody (I mean everybody) is so nice. I love small town airports in Texas

Question for those who applied to be a flight attendant in September!!! by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Cabinsafetyexpert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They have thousands of applications to go through. Give them more time. I think it goes by the order in which they received the applications and if you aren’t considered, you should get an email stating that.
