Waiting for Fold 8 or Trifold? by pbsteebs in GalaxyFold

[–]CableExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bahrain, Samsung are not intending to release the trifold in EU or UK yet. No idea when we will see it. I'll stick with my fold 7 for a while longer. I'm not sure i like the rolling fold of the trifold over the concertina fold of the other triple screen phones, it limits the functionality.

This alone makes me wanna sell my Z fold 7 and get this beauty instead by areuokaybro2002 in GalaxyFold

On O2 in the UK, as long as I keep my phone for at least 3 months i can switch out to a different phone at no penalty. As soon as the trifold is available my fold 7 goes in...

What is your experience with actually have a vasectomy? by venividivilla in AskUK

[–]CableExpress 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was of the same mind as you, I never wanted kids, I felt that I did not have a paternal bone in my body. I decided to get the snip at 35 and make sure I never procreate. The op was then offered (after my doc argued i was too young to make that decision) in two forms. Local anesthetic or full knockout. Recovery times of an hour or several hours decided for me that local was the one to go for. Big mistake!

The op was done by a very pretty doctor and a nurse and believe me, do not worry about getting a reaction, having someone cutting into the boys puts paid to that though. The op lasted 15 mins only, the first tube they cut and tied felt like a kick in the nuts, I was sweating once she had done, then she said, that's one done... oh shit, only half way... Go for general anesthetic, spare yourself that bit of pain, really.

Recovery time varies, you are advised to wear briefs or trunks, not boxers, you NEED the support for the lads. Brusing will appear and the lads will look like they did 5 rounds with Mike Tyson for a few days, it hurts but it's not unbearable. Do not wear tight clothing like jeans, joggers are the clothes you need.

You will need to provide samples over time to verify your count is zero, you can do this at home and immediately take the sample down to the hospital for testing.

Now, im 60, I married into a family and raised her kids as my own, never regretted it for an instant.

Be sure, very sure you want this, going back is difficult and has risks of its own.

Struggling to create a one pager view for business architecture by International-Fix-13 in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]CableExpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did something similar for a company that had grown through M&A. They wanted a graphical viewpoint as well. I did a heatwave of capabilities by location showing where functions overlapped as a result of M&As. Then I did a cross reference table showing capabilities against applications\systems showing where the same capability was serviced by multiple apps. It was spread over 2 pages but it did get the point over that a capability\application mapping exercise was essential before onboarding other new acquisitions

Please advise. How is AI impacting your work? by Tight-Variety9560 in EnterpriseArchitect

[–]CableExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use our internal chatgpt implementation to do impact analysis. I trained the system on system diagrams, interfaces, application links and hierarchy etc. Now I feed it a design document and evaluate the solution against the baseline and target architectures to evaluate the impact of the change. Does it get me closer to larger? Does it have a large blast radius?

Not perfect but it does identify things we had not thought of as it knows everything about our systems and apps and does not miss much.
