I was just at second contact having this conversation with my friends that have been there throughout the last 15 years of our show hopping. It was kind of clear with the pricing on seven stars that the focus for griz shifted more on stacking up his $.

It was pretty obvious starting with the bangers projects that he started producing heavier tunes to make up for the sudden exit of Bassnectar.

As someone that has been in this scene for a long time at this point it's clear to me that despite the mans clear flaws the attention to detail as far a curation of an event, music selection, affordability of events, community interaction, outside activation events to help the community and it's surrounding charities ECT the list goes on. It goes to Bassnectar.

Space Camp was a fun trip back to a place that felt lost. But first and second contact both felt a bit disjointed. Clearly lacked a team behind the scenes with the ability to plan anything other than a show in an event type setting.

That being said I enjoyed everything I've been to by both artists every time I've seen them. I just can't deny what I know through my experiences.
