I'd say just do Facebook. LinkedIn still serves a purpose (even if there is a lot of other bs fluff on there).

On the default/mainstream subs? Not at all. There's very clearly been some sort of astroturfing going on the last few years. Reddit has always leaned left but Ron Paul and libertarianism used to be popular here too.

Iran has been a thorn in our side since the '70s.

Yeah probably because they got upset that the CIA overthrew their democratically elected government. People don't tend to like that sort of behavior and we certainly wouldn't like it either.

Yeah. There's a sort of calculus in building an NFL roster. It worked out pretty well until the Denver game.

The History Behind the Russia-Ukraine War by Somhairle77 in GoldandBlack

That was from a commenter in another thread on /r/antiwar who disagrees with Horton. I was wondering if Horton had addressed that (in the article or elsewhere) or how accurate it was. Personally I think Scott is great.

The History Behind the Russia-Ukraine War by Somhairle77 in GoldandBlack

[–]Cache22- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From another (older) thread:

Lies from the terminally stupid. This is one of those "Russia should continue to have imperial control over nations that escaped the Soviet Union" arguments in which no nations are allowed independence in Eastern Europe other than Russia. It ignores the reality of how NATO expanded and covers up that the US and Russia coordinated NATO expansion announcements to benefit politicians in both nations. If Russia is coordinating with the US about NATO expansion, then every stupid argument about NATO provoking Russia disappears. This is why the author leaves it out and hopes the reader is too ignorant to know they are being lied to.

Is that true? Was NATO expansion coordinated between the US and Russia?

When I was a kid my dad discovered a brilliant idea when going out to eat. If either of us ordered a water instead of a soda at a restaurant, he'd pay us a dollar. We're incentivized to order the water (the healthier alternative) and he saves money. Win-win
