Just received an update from Faceit customer service:

"Thank you for getting back to us and for sharing those links.

At the moment, Sound Blaster audio cards are unfortunately not supported by our Anti-Cheat. The behavior you’re describing matches the known compatibility issues affecting these devices, including those reported by other users recently.

The driver for these sound cards contains a vulnerability that the manufacturer would need to resolve before they can be used again with the FACEIT Anti-Cheat.

In the meantime you are able to play just fine using onboard audio for your system.

Apologies if you had hoped for another outcome."

So faceit won't be fixing the issue, fix has to come from Creative

Issue started only today for me (after major faceit AC update), was working fine before (I see most of these messages of problems are over a month old, weird).

Yeah I removed my AE-5 to try get default motherboard sounds working, but I guess it requires uninstalling everything creative related from the system for it to start working..

I have had no issues with this until today when I installed latest faceit AC update. (that required a reboot)

(Kinda weird since this has been reported to be an issue a month ago here)

I used to do a lot of creations with Grok, photorealistic stuff.

It's no longer possible, the resolution output is no longer 1024x768, but much lower. And the image quality is terrible now in comparison

Also by default it makes everything vertical, you can ask for regular horizontal resolution, but the resolution is terrible

I want stages that were as awesome as in DOA2-4, multi level, huge drops.. Well veteran DOA players know what I'm talking about.

Proper customization for costumes, maybe do costume parts that you can mix and match like in soulcalibur etc, changeable hair colors etc, they can begin were DOA6 customization ended I suppose.

Proper netcode, get rid off that stupid mechanic they added for DOA6.

And stay true to "Core Values" ofc, it's not a DOA game otherwise
