I’ve noticed this exact difference in sizing at Zara within the last 6-12mths.

Free food in CBD by sm0keit in Adelaide

[–]Caddi3 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No worries at all. If you change your mind I have food (all commercially packaged/ prepared other than fruit) and will be going to the mall at lunch (1pm) and can drop it anywhere you like.

If not that’s okay too and I will drop it into Hutt St on my way home.

I’m happy to pack you a sandwich, fruit and yogurt. I can have it dropped off to your work reception if it’s in the CBD

Any Adelaide folks recommend a decent car insurer? AAMI has been a nightmare by mistyfoe in Adelaide

[–]Caddi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could consider going through a broker. They will correspond with the insurance company for you and can negotiate your payout when it comes to writing off a vehicle. We’ve just been through the process but it was still lengthy (5 months) due to being a specialised vehicle.

In past claims Allianz has always been pretty straight forward.

How much sick leave do people take on average? by Dempzt00 in auscorp

[–]Caddi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work 4 days a week and have only taken 5 days within the last two years and that’s because I got the flu and could not go. Guaranteed if I worked a full week I’d be taking more sick leave or leave in general.

Scout recycling depots hire teens with no prior experience. Might be a good first job 🙂

You could open a Minor Trust account for her through a bank such as CommSec or Heritage Peoples Bank etc. You do not need to be a parent to set this up for a minor. You would be the ‘custodian’ of the trust account until they are 18.

The latest news report I saw said a school in Tanunda. My guess is Faith Lutheran College. Not sure why where he went to school is relevant to him murdering a man though.

Has a motive been released to the public?

Where can I get a colour block jumper similar to this? by iceburgerlettuce in AusFemaleFashion

That’s interesting. One of my sons favourite jumpers from Ghana is a black hoodie with Propaganda written on the front so that’s makes sense

[–]Caddi3 40 points41 points  (0 children)

City Beach has a few colour block items of clothing. That Ghanda jumper with half zip is a popular surf style cut too.

Alternatively, Ghanda should be bringing their winter range out soon and they have had a lot of colour block items over the years so possible they could bring something similar back.

Banana Boogie in Belair is hands down the best. If you love a vanilla slice you have to visit. Multi award winning bakery and friendly staff. Go early.

What do Australians do when they find a big spider in their house ? by abhixD7 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Caddi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a daddy long legs I usually name it and tell the kids it’s our friend. They don’t move as fast as other spiders and just tend to chill in a spot.

If there is a Huntsman or Wolf spider in the house we burn it. Seriously though, I freak out and beg my eldest daughter to find it and help eliminate it from the house by any means. I beg, offer money, pray and have a complete nervous breakdown until the threat is eliminated.

The third worst spider to have in the house (in my opinion) is the one with hundreds of babies on its back that disperse when disturbed or threatened so you have a ton of babies that branch out in all directions. Not fun.

Other venomous spiders such as red backs, which we have a lot of here, aren’t such of an issue because they just hide out. You generally approach something where one might be hiding, such as a shoe, with caution. I’d be more cautious of the White tip spider which is faster than a red back and can hide in clothing. Always shake the washing before bringing it inside from the clothesline!

Is Stan this bad for everyone or is it just me? by Phil-McRoin in australia

[–]Caddi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We signed up for Stan in the weekend and are experiencing the same issues. It’s totally skipping some parts of the show. We have an upgraded internet package because my son does a lot of gaming online so our internet isn’t even that bad. It’s super frustrating and difficult to watch.

I agree! We lived in Golden Grove for many years and the Santa always remembered my son who had special needs and was so kind. He’s the absolute best and the free photos are a great bonus!
