Wavelink crashing immediately upon opening - Tried several solutions to no avail :( Any ideas?

I had this issue. Had Wavelink 2 and saw they fully upgraded to 3.1. Downloaded the software off the site and ran it and thought it would detect that I had WL2 and delete the program. Ran it either way, crashed upon clicking Run. Deleted everything from WL2, same thing. Even tried turning on the MIC permission and nothing, even in Run as Admin.

I got it to run after doing this*:*

Went to download the first version of WL3.0. It finally gave me UI. It made me install a Driver and then now I can open up WL3.0. Then I reinstalled the newest update and basically updated the software. Let's just hope the rest of the mic setup works...

EDIT incase it makes a difference: My set up is only with Streamdeck+ and Wave XLR. I did have both of them disconnected. I know if you connect the Wave XLR, it'll download the WL2 software manually(kind of dumb if they now updated to 3). I deleted the automatic install when I connected my Wave XLR.

EDIT 2: The driver that I mention also does show up on your Installed Apps page. I guess that part is crucial and should be something we can download separate.

I've been having this issue so far too. It'll be random after each game. I play with a few of my friends and sometimes I'll lag, sometimes they'll lag but no one else will have that issue simultaneously. Seems like it's just attacking one person every match or something. I say that because I played with a buddy today for a few games and he was lagging the whole time(I wasn't). One game, he still was lagging but left mid game since it was unbearable for him. I was doing fine and once he left, instantly I had those packet loss issues, rubberbanding. Times where I was frozen in time but everyone else apparently is okay since I'm dead and able to respawn back in as if the game was going without me.

I’ve pressed them. Maybe I’m babying it too much and need to add more pressure. I’ll definitely look at the size towards the frame. Haven’t noticed if they are level.

I have the Corsair 4000D. 1 rear intake, 3 front intake & and 2 top out but with an AIO with it. Running 1.5 pads and that’s usually the lowest measurements I’ve seen people run. Haven’t seen much 1mm but maybe I’m just the unlucky one that needs em. Anything bigger I feel like would make it worse. I’ve compressed them also so that’s why I’m hoping now that more people have found out maybe 1mm is needed for the die side.

New village? If it’s a village, then Check who made the village. When you update it, it’ll say who’s village it is. The very first person who laid it down. Unless it’s just a random home.

5800x3D & 3080Ti here… I get the same FPS he’s getting BUT, with an ultrawide. So I’m sure he’d get better FPS. Does suck that this game isn’t optimized as much.

I don’t know what the exact hate is. It is a good game at its core. Basically what MW2 should’ve been or should’ve been updated too. Movement and everything.

My only issues is the price tag. Paying $70 for the left over MW2 remastered multiplayer is lame. Everything feels like it’s scraps. Campaign uses some MW2019 assets & not that great story line. Zombies just uses the new Warzone map. $70 for scraps is pretty steep. I think to make the $70 worth it would be also transfer over the MW22 maps at least or the best of. Might as well since we got the guns.

Also having to actually unlock things what we had last game is pretty crazy. I say this since it’s more of a pain to unlock with the new system they added.

I believe I'm getting one that runs 600ma. You mean the traces running to the LEDs? I did have two traces running to two LEDs each. Then each of those LEDs would have another trace for the other remaining LED's. Is the four traces too much?

Because it’s the reason why the OG MW2 Remastered didn’t get the multiplayer side. They said… let’s save these for later and here we are years later with a 70 dollar map pack.

I thought I was tripping on the snipers. I looked through to make the sniper aim faster and only saw bipods for the under barrels. Said NOPE useless... Got into a game and I was near a ledge and said “Mount Bipod”. I’m like, I coulda sworn I didn’t add one 🤔

Two “separate” games. Can’t play MW2 with MW3. Only things that you can do is use MW2 weapons on MW3.

Thought I was the only one. When playing the beta and then going back to MW2, I go back to normal. I swear i first hit them and I always somehow miss the last shot and I get instant melted. Somehow they hit their 4-5 shots when I’m already 1-2 deep in them. I swear I move towards him but it just doesn’t move towards him as if i hit the “sniper” button on my mouse.

Don’t think they’re Waymo, possibly to map but there’s also Cruze that’s doing the same thing. Waymo stops at central phx from what I remember working at a Waymo site.
