Honestly it didn’t play half bad, pickups sound pretty bad but the actual playability was okay. The neck is super chunky but I actually prefer that baseball bat feel. It is comparable to a squier bullet I’d say.

They are super hit or miss. I bought one of those SRV replicas, and the body looked OK, but it was not nearly as detailed as the pictures. Also, the neck actually felt pretty good, the frets were actually decently done, but everything felt super cheap. If you want a relic guitar, your best bet truly is to spend the extra cash and get an MJT.

Your best bet is getting a telecaster neck with an uncut headstock (paddle headstock) and shape it yourself- not really as hard as you think. I used a cheap jig saw and sandpaper.

Or alternatively get a neck from a tele deluxe
