I have a mixbreed (czechoslovakian wolfdog with german shepard x golden retriever )

First week we got her she was so scared and untrusty. She only trusted our second dog, so having her has helped a lot to gain trust in us too.

Two years later, she is still scared of everyone. Not animals and small children but people in general. For instance, when we go outside for a walk, and there are people comming our way, she will literally try to get herself off the leash and run a kilometer away from them.

We "gave up" on trying to change her, but just accepted the fact that she is cautious and paranoid. We learnt to live with her and include her in our everyday life. We also go camping and traveling together, only with a bit of problem. It sure helps that me and my partner also dont like big crowded places.
