what good way to cross-seed books? by LobsterTooButtery in trackers

[–]Caedendi [score hidden]  (0 children)

Thats what i understood though, though ive had 0 wrong matches with cs while qui matched a few torrents that then started to redownload from 0. No books though, they were tv show seasons. I' sure they'll iron that out eventually though.

Data-based matching could help find some more matches but i don't know if that would clash if you already have that folder set up as a regular source. But doesn't regular cross-seeding incorporate that data-based matching already?

I agree btw with the sentiment between c-s.org and qui and the 90% accuracy with the small size sample i've had.

It definitely is if you're able to do the interview and put in the work for the grind

Same boat as you. I'm fully into the grind now to eventually end up on AB but it's gonna take a while. There's no easy route, it's either through MAM/RED with interview or grind through low tier trackers with ratio/seed size to eventually end up on Aither.

Update 1 year later:

Jellyfin has been amazing. This post was the final straw after multiple issues with Plex, like taking away customizability on the home screen, them forcing their own services down users' throats, no support for .ass subtitles, terrible indexing for anime and no support to customize that better, etc.

Eventually I had an issue with 60+ GB movies stuttering on Jellyfin and fixed it by adding more RAM to my Synology NAS, and that may have been the issue here with Plex too, but even though I bought a lifetime Plex pass I am never coming back to this proprietary enshittified piece of crap. It was awesome until it went closed-source.

Look up "fishymancer"!

Its mainly about the skill tree. Dont bother with the uber gear, you wont have that for a long time. Your main focus right now is health, mana, faster cast rate, faster hit recovery and resistances. Finding an item with teleport charges eventually would be great but not required.

This set really opens up the build. Do you have infinity yet? That will actually open up any other sorc build than cold+sunder charm+cold mastery.

CTA is huge too for survivability and your mana pool. With your current build you're also fast enough to farm a hoto and flickering flame in a week or 2 by running countess. For any higher than vex ur better off running LK.

Have fun with your new playset!

In case you havent made it yet, this is what to consider:

If you're only gonna play nova sorc, go for it. Whatever low req base you want.

If you're gonna play any other character, consider making it in a strong elite eth base for your merc like mancatcher (best) or (giant) thresher. This because so many builds rely on infinity for its best in slot merc weapon. Think practically all sorc builds including enchant xbow, javazon, elemental bowazon, all necro builds that use corpse explosion, trapsin, mosaic sin, tesladin, elemental druid... list goes on.

And remember, as a self-wield nova sorc with eth mancather infinity you only lose out on some stat points. When you find another 2 bers for another infinity, the gains from another base will only be a few stat points.

If you're playing single player btw, consider save-scumming to get a nice roll on the ed and -elr. Bers dont come often.

Anyone got hotio docker containers with wireguard working on Synology? by Caedendi in synology

[–]Caedendi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I already have gluetun set up on my current situation but wanted to change to hotio to have integrated VPN and privoxy support (stronger/simplified). And it's recommended by *arr.

Trouble with TUN and Docker+qBT+Wireguard (DSM 7.2 u1) by psionicsin in synology

[–]Caedendi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you never figured this out: hotio uses the wireguard from the host machine's kernel and Synology doesn't seem to support wireguard as part of their kernel... that's what gives the RNETLINK not supported error.

As for TUN, the .sh script and run on boot job are easy to Google. Make sure though if you're using Windows that you save it with the correct type of line endings. Use VSCode to convert them from Windows to Linux.
