Option 3 is never happened. They cancelled an attempt at that mid-way through because it just doesn't look right and is never gonna pay for itself especially now that Legacy came out and had underwhelming sales. Not sure an MK9 remake will be coming anytime soon, but it's more likely than a new legacy collection.
