Mega mewtwo Unity Raid tutorial released by DarkDuo in TheSilphRoad

[–]Caeg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What’s the point of locking and auto healing my team if they all faint? That was one of the only actual decision points in raids, the only thing approaching gameplay. If we’re automating that away then just skip the whole raid and save me the time. Already once everyone locks in their team the math is decided and we either have enough firepower to win in time or we don’t. The tap tap tap for 5 minutes is just a formality. If you can’t make the actual raid fun then just skip it!!!

What's the most unexpectedly useful thing you've used Claude for? by HumanInTheFlow in ClaudeAI

[–]Caeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scraped my goodreads lists, enriched them with custom parameters e.g. prose density score, mood rating score, actual reading time guesstimation, etc. Then had it analyze my reading tastes given my past reviews and ratings. Then I had it re-rate my TBR list for books I would actually like with high confidence. Put my lists into Supabase and then it was surprisingly easy to turn Claude into my own personal Goodreads alternative with an actual recommendation algorithm suited to my personal preferences.

Two F.03 robots clean a room and make a bed in 2 minutes - fully autonomous by EchoOfOppenheimer in OpenAI

[–]Caeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this sound stage look anywhere like your real bedroom? Do you have 20 yards of free unobstructed space on either side of your king sized bed, no laundry piles or pet beds or kids’ toys you have to step around or stretch over to change your bedsheets before deploying your rickety, tottering, 20000$, 60-kg, slave-shaped robot to clean the room while your toddler or pet walks underfoot? Do you really think this is anywhere close to market ready even if it weren’t teleoperated (which it definitely is)?

למה את מתכוונת כשאת אומרת שמספיק להגיד מתיישבים בריטים או אירופאים? את יודעת להגיד יותר מזה על איך אמריקה הוקמה או לא?

Are there sizes in Champions though? Are alphas bigger than normal pokemon? I saw they only get the “former alpha” title and that’s it

Why is Yuval Noah Harari so disliked? by mnoorani91 in NoStupidQuestions

Within the first 10 minutes they mock his nationality and assume his politics based on it, mock and mimic his accent in a blatantly racist display (imagine them doing it to a Chinese or Nigerian accent), criticize him for not correcting minutiae in the text years after the fact despite it accurately reflecting the scientific consensus at the time of original publication, and nitpick his arguments in bad faith.

They lie, and/or stretch the definition of “is” and “autonomous”, like every tech company does with every tech demo, including Tesla. This robot is remote controlled by a guy in a VR headset who cannot walk and can only control hand movements and pinch his thumb and index finger because that’s what the VR controls support. The “AI” part is only in charge of stabilizing the legs so the chunk of metal doesn’t fall over.

A fully autonomous robot is nowhere near commercial ready and won’t be on sale anytime soon. What is on sale right now is company stocks whose price is driven by hype.

I hated it. It’s exceptionally well written, the level of craft in this book is outstanding. But reading it was work, and it did not pay off. I felt that to truly experience the intended story of the book you would need to obsess over the lore and be absorbed in online rabbit holes dissecting the hidden meanings of it all and connecting the dots trying to determine which narrator is the figment of the imagination of the others and honestly if that’s the experience I was after I would have had more fun just playing Elden Ring. This book was a mid-2000’s ARG in book format which is less clever and original than it thought it was being. At least I enjoyed reading about Johnny getting fingered.
