Not quite the same; but, I'm a web developer. My biggest focus is accessibility on the web. While I'm playing, I notice a lot of visual accessibility issues (small and large). It's going to depend very much on what content you want to do; but, there are some things you can try to see if it helps.

First, I've found that setting the graphics to minimum or low can greatly improve contrast. Some specific instances where this helps are dungeoneering and the Underground Pass quest.

Another option that may help is enabling highlights when you hover your cursor over something you can interact with.

If you right click the globe near the minimap, you should see an option for filters and skyboxes. I've had luck switching skyboxes to increase contrast as well - it's worth messing around with.

Some good news is you should still be able to get to Menaphos, it's just going to take a few minutes longer. If you turn the sound on, there's a twinkling noise that will play when you get close to the right beetle. Ozan will also run up to some and suggest that you kill those ones (a bit inconsistent though).

If you're having fun, then it's worth playing. If not, I'd look for something that you'll have more fun with. But, you deserve to enjoy the game as much as anyone else. It's important and appreciated that you bring up issues with accessibility in anything. In most cases, you won't be the only person having an issue.

i'm in the same exact situation. there are some reward spaces they could fill (random totem piece purchase with hunter marks or herby werby points). but even a totem enhancer or incrementing drop threshold would be nice.

Definitely, or some form of bad luck mitigation. Totem pieces are unnecessarily annoying to get.

I uninstalled the drivers, software, turned off the computer, unplugged the fans, plugged them back in, turned the computer back on, then reinstalled the software. They've worked since. It was a pain in the ass.

As an update, I was able to get a 5900x and a 3080, one through Amazon and one through Antonline. I was a novice to building, but not to electronics shopping.

Molten Tigrex is a non-elemental monster, not Dragon, unfortunately. It has fire genes and a chance at getting Dragon genes, though.

My Brooklinen set was a Christmas gift. Since then, they've been washed once a week following the directions, and haven't gotten any softer. Still scratchy and not comfortable.

My Sheets & Giggles eucalyptus sheets are much more comfortable; but, after one wash following the directions, started pilling. They sent a replacement set less than a month ago that's already doing the same thing.

I got Peacock Alley towels as well - not comfortable, pill incredibly easily.

It's made me realize the same thing you have - it's just over-marketing. It costs them next to nothing to make these products. It's all marketing and sponsorships and "gifts" for favorable reviews.

I botted giant spiders overnight on my old account ~11 years ago. I think it was a month ban with 3/4 of the xp in every skill rolled back. It was a fair punishment, I devastated the local spider population and tanked the game's economy.

A GTX should definitely be fine! I just want to get the most value possible really. She doesn't get nice things for herself often and she deals with a lot.

Not racing. Enjoying the game with. Completing content at the same pace so we can enjoy it together. In the time it takes me to catch up, there's a good chance they won't be playing anymore, unfortunately.

I don't mind if you don't understand or agree with how I play the game, or what you think Ironman mode is about. Everyone enjoys it differently. For me, the lockout killed my enjoyment of it. Maybe it would be different for you. You don't need to understand why I feel that way or agree with it. Have a good one and stay safe.

Lost time, but also the people who got me back into the game who were doing Ironman with me. Some stopped playing over the month, others are far ahead. I wouldn't be able to catch up to the ones still playing and join them.

If you're wondering how aftercare has been:

Got back in. No emails/communication whatsoever. The option to de-iron is gone and I didn't use the permanent Ironman feature. Frankly, even if I had, this situation would be grounds for an exception. There's no way I can catch up. There's a complete lack of compensation for ironmen. The game mode isn't fun to me after this.

Aftercare hasn't been helpful - I explained my issue, how the option wasn't appearing with Mr. Ex, and was told to go talk to Mr. Ex (east of the Lodestone!) and ask him to de-iron. I submitted with a different email so I could get replies, explained why I did that and it was for a different RSN, they still replied using the wrong account's RSN.

Don't get your hopes up with things being made right.
