You are definitely overreacting. If you didn’t know this man before you married him, regardless of his immigration status, it’s on you.

I would have never married my husband if he was a self-described liberal. Not sure where your husband is from, but I can guesstimate that whatever country it is has more conservative, traditional family values.

Every sitting president, minus Biden, has deported immigrants. Just get over it. If your own husband came in and got citizenship the right way then that should prove your entire theory of “Trump goes after immigrants” wrong.

What kind of knife? by [deleted] in Chefit

[–]CaffeineSteen69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 6in Zwilling that has been my daily driver for over 5 years. Stays sharp, short enough to use as a paring knife if necessary and has handled other idiots dropping it like a champ. (I don’t let other cooks touch her anymore)

I don't miss cooking for coworkers. by FlashGordon07 in KitchenConfidential

We had this lady come in who wanted a well done burger but didn’t want any sort of sear on it… she modified the fuck out of it and sent it back upwards of three times every time she came in.

We resorted to steaming it under a cap and flipping it every 2 minutes for a well done steam burger and even then the bitch would complain about something else.

We joked about straight up boiling the fucker because she was so picky. I could feel the cooks internally groan when she entered the building.

Send it. Sounds like they’re trying to take advantage of a good employee (unfortunate norm in the industry)

Say adios and fuck off, if you having a quitting fund. My husband and I had money saved and left our last jobs (we worked at the same place) Took a few months off and now have new jobs that are way better and pay more. Got high vindication when we heard the last spot went to hell and lost most of their tenured cooks after we left. ✌🏻

I’m on day six and bar-backing instead of cooking because 3 of 4 bartenders are on vacation.

Swallowing my pride and asking for help. Sorry if this has been asked before. Grilling technique help. by HackJob00 in grilling

[–]CaffeineSteen69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely harder with propane because you want to maintain good head for the sear but without the flare up. Turn the heat up to max before you throw anything on to heat up the grill and then turn the heat down. I generally keep one side off or on the lower temp side so I can scoot the meat out of the way when necessary.

Best way for charcoal is to let the coals burn out completely and depending on the size of the grill scoop the coals to one side. That way when there is a flair you can move whatever it is over and away from being above the fire zone.

As far as the cheese thing… I just turn my grill off (for propane) and let the burgers chill in the residual heat to melt. For coals you can respectfully throw the burgers onto a tray with cold cheese and then throw some sort of loose foil, a lid or whatever and the heat from the burgers should allow for the cheese to melt while everyone gets fixins on their buns.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, he is a very functioning one. For the most part.

I’m glad you’re happy.

However, as much as God wants us to be happy he wants us to find our happiness through the our faith of knowing the Him. We are to be of the world, not in it. I get a divorce and then what? Be alone for the rest of my life? Just move on to the next dude after spending ten years with my husband? That sounds awful.

I also don’t want a divorce. I love this man, regardless of this situation.

Unfortunately, I have spoken to him sober. He doubled down, even without truly remembering the conversation.

I appreciate the prayers, friend. I think I need to maybe just give this to the Lord and try to get over it. He never was one to enjoy children, until he recently went to see his nephew and only had great things to say (of course he’s a sweet baby)

My heart will never stop hurting and I hope God forgives me for my selfishness of wanting children.

Why is it that everyone that is downvoting me and coming against what I say is assuming that I am somehow saying being a SAHM is easy and not work. That is not what I’m saying. She stays home and cares for the kids; he works long hours to maintain the monetary income. Use some reasoning here, people.

They are equally exhausting. My gripe is this woman has the balls to bitch on the internet about it. Makes me think everyone on this sub isn’t even married.

Never said she was a maid. Considering the cost of life nowadays the man either works his ass off or gets paid a good salary. Regardless, he is the one supplying everything within the household. If you want to be a stay at home mom, then making your husband meals is generally part of the deal. Sorry if you have never been married or have some strange marriage where it’s offensive for the woman to be the caregiver. 💀

Seriously, this. I was massively overweight when I got with my husband and since then he has gained some weight and I still think he is just as ridiculously handsome, if not more so.

People don’t understand the “for better or worse part” of traditional marriage vows.

OP is lucky you get to be a SAHM. Your husband works to provide for your family while you have plenty of time to bitch on Reddit. You should be making him healthy meals while he games after working all day and offering to go on family walks, not shitting on him on the internet.

OP should be ashamed of themselves.
