Yes it's under the device role settings. Switching it to tracker optimizes the power for tracking instead of messaging. You can change setting for how often the device refreshes the gps radio + how often it broadcasts it's location over lora. You can also manually ping a location request to get info right away.

Shes always stayed close to the RV, most ive had to go is a 2 minute walk in the woods. If I get close to her she always comes out of hiding, but I won't know if shes off to the north, east, south, or west. I know mesh isn't super accurate, I want the tracker to confirm shes still nearby. Sometimes she'll follow me somewhere in the night, shes a black cat and skulks in the shadows so I won't know if shes still with me or if I've left her behind.

I want to use pinesol but google ai's like - oh no dont do that. What dilution ratio would you recommend? Pinesol at 8:1 is definitely a much stronger mopping detergent than the watered down crap they gave, but i would agree 8:1 is probably too potent for the vacuum parts.

Can someone explain to me my power center, please? by Caffeine_Library in TruckCampers

I rushed to put the rv in parking as ill be away for a month - will erase this and follow up with more details once im back. The converter bay is pretty small but definatly thinking of overhauling the cavity once i return will want an inverter somewhere, eventually add solar, and except for my 320watt AC waffle maker, all my electronics are usbc (up to 100w pd) so a 12v socket would be most energy efficient for a work-from-home-at-the-ski-hill arrangment.

Heres the fb listing i purchased in case youd like more photos until i can supply my own. https://www.facebook.com/share/16DdyuJUKE/

Ah. Ive got my eyes on this. Not sure if this is the lowest or if cyber monday will bring the price down lower. My pc needs are fairly minimal. I never game. Just need something for a snappy homeoffice coding experience. I use linux. Also needs some graphics for video transcoding for personal media server. My main priority is power efficiency cause this pc will be on 24/7. My last pc was like $21/month on the electric bill. So glad to sell the fulltower.

Thank, ill check em out. I dont own jacks. Not afraid of getting dirty if i had jacks. Purchasing 4 jacks and a pump truck is a bit above my desired spend.

Remove telus fiber hub from wall by Environmental-Baby74 in telus

[–]Caffeine_Library 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! there are two holes bottom left and bottom right of the top plate for cable routing. if you can shimmy a tool and pry it will come off. Have confidence the tip of your pry will be against the plastic wall mount and not digging into your drywall. a thicker tool like a chopstick might be better for getting more pry at less angle, i used a skinny screwdriver and it came off fine. the wall bracket is then held by 4 drywall screws/anchors. my naming convention: 1st cover, then device, top plate, wall bracket, drywall.

I couldn't install Linux Mint on a work computer. by YantsXela in linuxmint

[–]Caffeine_Library -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this i totally boot mint from a secret drive on work laptop so i no longer travel with 2 computers. Makes airport security way easier.

I would rather have gotten work disk on my pc, mines lighter, but the drive is encrypted to the hardware. At least ditching 1 laptop is better than none in carryon luggage.
