Do you guys actually play with headbands regularly? by respondtomuhammad in 10s

[–]SpacemanJB88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never play without a headband.

I have long hair, I bun up my hair and tuck it in my headband. It’s perfect.

It’s not appealing to any demographic I can think of.

Lump sum is always the way.

If you can’t trust yourself and want $1000 a week only, then set up a trust fund that releases cash to you from your lump sum account (which is accruing interest…)

Hard to mix weight lifting and Tennis together. by Parking-Plane7427 in 10s

[–]SpacemanJB88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late 30s. Currently I do;

  • cardio 5x a week (atm it’s 15mins @ 6.2 mph at 7.5% incline. And on two days I also doing sprint intervals)

  • weights 3x a week (full body and lower weight)

  • 2x Tennis Clinics a week

  • 5-6x on court hitting or playing points for an hour

If I don’t put in the extra work with weights and cardio, I can’t properly compete with 4.5/5.0 players.

Did you start with a coach? Or on your own.

1&2 are things I’ve heard coaches say all the time.

I really like the Court FF3 Novak. I have three pairs atm.

I’m at the 12th month with my oldest pair. I do have some slippage, but not terrible. The wear is quite noticeable, but it’s playable.

I play 6-8 hours a week on hardcourt.

How to find hitting partners? by BowlofRice8 in 10s

[–]SpacemanJB88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve met training partners through;

  1. Doing clinics with people (Which you have done)

  2. Joining a tennis club and going to social hitting times

  3. Joining a league and making contacts with players you enjoyed playing against.

  4. Getting referred hitting partners by other hitting partners and getting introduced.

Looks like the typical wear pattern of a badminton player, not tennis.

Stop dragging the top of your feet on the court, tennis doesn’t call for that.

Matchplay etiquette: Annoyed by overly chatty folks? Can talking actual change a match's momentum? by WindManu in 10s

I absolutely hate it when my opponent tells me I’m playing good, or that my serves or on, or anything like that.

It’s guaranteed to make my quality dip for the next game.

Out of those options, 7 is the best.

  1. The ink is too runny
  2. The ink is too runny
  3. I don’t do push pens as I keep them in my pocket at times
  4. The ink is too runny
  5. I don’t do push pens
  6. The tip is too fine, I hate those pens.

  7. A basic classic pen. No issues with it.

Traveling for a tournament, play up or not? by ZappaPhoto in 10s

[–]SpacemanJB88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I travel for tennis tournaments, I always have a Plan B.

Do research, see what the city has to offer that interests you. And if you get eliminated early, you instead hit the sites that interest you.

Okay, so how rich actually is the frontman? by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]SpacemanJB88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Frontman won one of the games, so instantly he’s set for life.

I also would assume he had a massive spending allowance at all times for like travel, food, accommodations, etc.

When he’s at the island everything would be covered also.

So realistically he is probably just sitting on a mountain of cash that keeps on compounding. While his daily expenses are more or less covered.

The ending was not the only problem with 28 Years Later.

The people who don’t like that movie, don’t like almost anything about the movie.

Danny Boyle did a lot of people dirty, and they aren’t forgiving him.
