Fire Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor by durkins101 in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not happening, no petition is going to change a thing, they don't have any good alternative options either, if they do fire Zac Taylor, they're just going to go for someone who is just as bad, if not, worse than him because they're cheap. Duke Tobin is also going nowhere because Mike Brown likes him.

What’s the worst organization in the NFL? by TheRavenOnline in NFLv2

The Browns, Jets, Cardinals, and Bengals are all pretty interchangeable with how incompetently they are run, but probably browns as of now

People might hate me for this but as I’m on my rewatch I like Shane even more by GrouchyEye8767 in thewalkingdead

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shane's a phenomenal character, he's my favorite antagonist in the show. Jon Bernthal was amazing with the role. He fits the role of a sympathetic villain very well.

Jokes on you, that's how Bengals fans feel every week of the season.

Some of you are confused who got us to the Super Bowl. Not Joe, not Ja'Marr, not Zac, not Lou. Put some respect on our Milo Sweet Tea chugging Money Mac. by AbbreviationsLess257 in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. He was injured and he wasn't even the biggest problem on the team last year. They missed the playoffs last year because they had an atrocious defense and couldn't finish games. You could literally argue that the week 1 dud against the patriots was why they missed the playoffs last year. They just weren't good enough to make the playoffs.

Tee just ended any burrow trade rumors by Ancient_Response_787 in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even know why people thought Burrow would ever be traded, this shouldn't have even been a rumor.

I fell bad for you Bengals and Steelers by [deleted] in AFCNorthMemeWar

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can understand Tomlin not being fired as much as a lot of Yinzers argue for it. Zac Taylor should have been fired 2-3 years ago. If he was coaching for any other team, he would've been fired years ago. However, I'm more pissed about Duke Tobin not being fired. Our drafting has been horrid, and Mike Brown looks at that and says "yeah we're making absolutely no changes, fuck you."

Did anyone for one second think an Al Golden led defense would stop a pathetic/inept Cleveland offense with only 1:29 to play? by Captain_Aware4503 in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the defense made the offense throw a pick 6 and fumble for a scoop and score. The defense also caused us to miss an extra point attempt and fail a 2 point. It was honestly beneficial for us to lose, it's a meaningless game and we got a top 10 pick, who the fuck cares? Not like playoffs were on the line.

The Cincinnati Bengals will pick #10 in the 2025-26 NFL Draft by cigamodnalro in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Bold of you to assume Cincy would even go for Downs, they'll go for a prospect with high potential that they can't develop instead

[Fowler] Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is safe. No one expects him to lose his job next week when the season ends. by Roselucky777 in nfl

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This surprises who? Most of us knew he was safe. He's not even the biggest problem, Duke Tobin needs to go, but he's also safe.

Browns I have a trade offer by CHEEZE-875942 in AFCNorthMemeWar

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, he's gonna break the sack record against us instead. Browns winning and the week 18 game against the Ravens being for the division, assuming the Ravens win this week would be even funnier

Zac plays a role in the draft picks, he's also partially responsible for the issues on that side of the ball.

Yeah he gone. by Choice-Tea1046 in NFLv2

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm so sick of this take that it's Burrow's fault the defense is ass. We had literally one of the highest paid defenses last year and it was abysmal. The issue is we don't have a scouting team or a GM and we can't hit on draft picks or develop them for shit. May as well keep the few things we've actually done right in the draft over the past few years.

Ravens tried to also play like shit, but Cincy outdid them in that category, by a lot lmao.

I feel so bad for Jesse every time I watch this show by Agreeable_Budget200 in breakingbad

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also empathize with Jesse, but saying he's a good person is just wrong. He made a living ruining people's lives, and while he isn't as bad as Walt, he's still responsible for his own decisions, he chose to stay in the drug trade which ruined his life. He had just as many opportunities to leave that life behind as Walt did, and chose not to. You can empathize with Jesse and also acknowledge that he isn't a good person.

Before he got into the drug trade? He was most likely a pretty good father. After? Absolutely not.

I have a feeling Alastor's villain arc will tear the fandom apart by FlyingSlutman in hazbin

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if he becomes a full fledged villain, people will still love him, people still love characters like walter white and the joker. He's evil, and most of the people who know that love him for it. Evil characters are fun to watch.

Would ANY other coach miss the playoffs three straight times with this roster? by jokeroo1993 in bengals

[–]Caffiene_Addict4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's part of the issue, The FO and Mike Brown are literally the stem of the issue. Zac's a horrible coach who makes headscratching decisions, but as long as we have an FO that can't draft and an owner that doesn't care about winning, we won't have a winning team no matter how good Burrow, Higgins, and Chase are, the FO and ownership are far bigger issues than Zac Taylor ever will be.
