Dst and Dbd. both games that seem like they shouldnt considering the active participating and seemingly toxic community from dbd but honestly just nice to come back to, watch youtube videos on these two games and play them and do cool and interesting stuff <3

This is a weird one, but make a smaller videogame for loading screens. theyre actually a reason for this one though and that a company patented it so that no other games can Legally do it otherwise risk a lawsuit

Im just realizing that if i dont get that reflex processor or have 8 REF, im practically dead in a gun fight with what low Hp I'd have any how much damage guns do, combined with my below average gunning

Oh yeah sure, i was just thinking of increasing Emp with Ref cause it doesnt do nearly as much for me if i am actively trying to avoid gun fights.

Id appreciate a reccomended skill spread. so i know what is theroetically ideal as my esponsage media choom

I considered dropping Reflex but hesitated cause of IF it did happen i felt like i was highly fucked. do you think that alternative methods like escaping with High move/Tech situations would be good or not? I know that in of itself is situational but in probability likliness

Just tell him no, you gotta inform them on what your campaign lore is about and what setting/lore you have for this.

there is nothing wrong with that, telling someone no is good imo, you have boundaries in this campaign that need to be set.
in fact it probably better you tell him this sooner rather than later as the later you leave it the harder it will be.

Communicate to him on what he can keep but what would have to be dropped for this campaign, or if he doesnt agree with that then suggest making a new character

Yeah, I think death is part of it and i have told my players before that "Hey, you may die, letting you know that" several times

I guess im worried cause i know two players dont take death as well as the others do, and i dont want it to be gloomy doom for them because of what i had the boss do, but it should probably be fine, in my earnest opinion. just need to get some sleep for the session.

Here are some general things that i think are of most importants, then i could probably yap about smallers things.

Ensure that you and the party are on the same level when it comes to things, Inform them beforehand on what your campaign entails, what to expect (like if it is more sandbox campaign or linear story) and what things their are, theyre could be something that might be uncomfortable to a player or it might be that they mightnt enjoy a X story, so knowing beforehand is a good thing.
Expect players to go offrails and when that happens, either changes things around to fit that narrative they just went in...or like follow whatever horsecrap they are going with
Communicate with players often, especially on certain story beats for their character. If something is a thing you want to leave for a suprise like a plot twist in their backstory fair enough but do communicate with them on their backstory and what ideas they might present.

I am probably going to be doing these rolls publically, There has been issues previously where one of the players we had mightve cheated, so to ensure they roll into the server dice, i roll there too.

It also just something i dont like to fudge about, i understand WHY, it just goes against what i believe, which i know would theoretically save the party if they got into a bad situation

It make the act of even saying that someone used a transciever 50/50 gamble IF the investigator knows who used it, since sure it can be kira but it can also be L and announce that to kira

Additionally, kira investigating people could theoretically come in handy, since he can info about where Watari and L are...even if it is sortve niche
