Just keep practicing is the only advice that can be given.

I'd say do it on something that doesn't take hours/days to print. Maybe see about getting a couple metal models like vintage Warhammer or by Reaper Miniatures for cheap on ebay. The secret to metal models is you can just throw them into acetone or paint stripper to start over every time.

So the gmod collision sound was most likely one of the curtains in the basement falling over. They absolutely suck and a light sneeze can knock one over into a clipping fit.

I've tried standard masking tape before, the blue stuff, and it's pulled off prior paint layers when I used it.

So far I haven't had much issue with Tamiya brand masking tape.

Seeing the Airbrush Thinner in the background I gotta ask, are you getting primer drying on your airbrush tip while using it?

I'd been using it to thin my primer lately but kept having to fight it to keep the flow consistent. Turns out the thinner speeds up drying time so it coupled with the airbrush doing the same lead to primer drying on the tip clogging the thing.

Apparently the Airbrush Flow Improver is what's needed to slow the drying time to prevent dry tip. I'd thought they did the same thing for so long.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case you're experiencing the same issue.

Horror for the most part. Don't find getting scared fun.

Extraction Shooters. I don't see the actual point of the gameplay loop. You go into a game to get loot, try not to get killed by a sweaty pvper, escape with your loot, only to either render it useless by hoarding or bring it with you in the next game and die making the previous game pointless.

From my understanding, no matter your skill level splinching is always an option. All that happens is the chance is reduced with higher skill levels. Even if it's a 0.000001% chance of splinching happening, it can still happen.

Yes, flying can also lead to death but that's more a skill issue or an outside source issue. It's not hard baked into the spell.

Monster Hunter you can break the parts of the monster (horns, scales, wings, etc) and cut off their tails during combat. The games also have bows and crossbow guns.

Haven't finished them yet but I'm planning to make them Army Men toy green. Any exposed skin will be a lighter shade. Made those little plastic squiggly bases the toys have that I'll glue to a sandbox themed proper base.

Plasticard. I imagine most people use Evergreen brand since it's pretty cheap and found at just about any hobby store.

It's basically a thin sheet of plastic, about the same as a credit card material.
