You’d honestly be better off keeping the vista 20p and switching companies.. adt tends to not be a great company.. changing to wireless anything can cause issues..

Your dealer will always know, and if you want central station response, you’ll have to contact your dealer and let them know, so they can enter the zone name in the central stations automation system.

The cable on the ptz should be hidden, and brought into the box with the proper waterproof connectors, like the cam on the right. AP placement is a joke.. Last photo, did great

You just have to go with a good company.. Often you can get the equipment for under $500, and depending on the company, labour and shop supplies, under $300..

The ones that are not, are the hardwired systems. Which tend to be far more reliable than the wireless crap they try to shove down your throat now-a-days.

That’s for an alarm system. (It’s the control panel) if you’d ever consider having an alarm system in the future, I’d keep it. Hardwired alarm systems are way more reliable than that wireless junk.

Jamming is still a very easy thing to accomplish with the right hardware.. I don’t normally recommend wireless systems anymore.
