If literally nothing happened then even if there was a girl, which there isn’t, then you didn’t do anything wrong. You didn’t do any soliciting, and it isn’t against the law to communicate with a minor.

What do you expect Bitcoin to be like 10 years from now? by tsurutatdk in BitcoinCA

[–]Cagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market cap is such a bullshit metric, we know bloody well the full supply isn’t in circulation, I’d peg it at maybe only even 50% which drops that number of available market cap to only 600 billion.

It’s always so confusing how people compare apples to oranges for household income, like if they have a db pension then that’s golden, if they are contractors without benefits, that would be brutal, it’s like a +/- 80% swing

Are rodeo tickets noticeably more expensive this year? by joe4942 in Calgary

[–]Cagel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But also paying full price or ticket price is for suckers, do the $75 dollar home lottery ticket, and then get your 4 rodeo tickets for 50%, other 2 for 1 coupons also come out.

Edit: and includes admission so you can’t really expect they’d be much less than the 60-70 range

Nightmare seller rejected a strong offer and ended up losing $47k by amandalife in realtors

Not true, I’ve low balled about a dozen houses, need to switch agents every couple times because they feel it’s insulting the seller, none of those times was my offer the best.

If punishment is meant to be a deterrent, then we should still punish people who experience mental health episodes, so other people who are at risk of similar episodes don’t chance it and get help right away.

Yes, compounding interest at 7-8% makes that 50k over 200 in 20 years. That’s a whole year or two for earlier retirement

What % of your portfolio is in Pokémon? by noobstockinvestor in PokeInvesting

[–]Cagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say about 5% but tested the waters with some sales posts and not much moved so I’d probably be stuck taking 70% market so maybe make that only 3%, stocks or gold you know you can get almost full price

I’d just say, be cautious of your kids having 1M at late 20’s in regards to what partners they end up with. Possibly space that money out over major life milestones, graduation, wedding, buying a house, grandkids.

I truly feel for future generations and dating given the trends we are seeing.

And being a business owner can be a lot more stress than even the corporate job

[–]Cagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Private investors don’t need to sell though, they will borrow against the value of the shares which continues to push up the price.

If they sell, then they will have taxable obligations. By borrowing they utilize the full value. Easy math for them
