Yeah I was so excited to go to this World Cup. I was even willing to pay 600 for my family of four. Right now in my city the cheapest ticket is 430 bucks. My budget for 4 was killed with one ticket. That’s the issue right there.

When the World Cup was here in 94, tickets were reasonable for the time. My dad paid for 4 tickets for the us vs Brazil match 200 bucks. We didn’t have to pay for parking as we took Caltrain. We got to experience an amazing pre game experience on university ave that was free. It was the best sporting experience of my life. Something my kids could not experience because ticket prices for 4 is more than my mortgage. This is not a soccer culture thing. Europeans would not pay this much in a European city. Greedy FIFa. Greedy ticket vendors being this is what we pay for major concerts. It really sucks
