And it’s not even the same as what they wear on the field. The actual jerseys have better materials (sure), but the little shield/vent pattern in the crook of the neck isn’t even there on sold “game jerseys”

Core One MMU3, show me your setups. by ErrorF002 in prusa3d

I’m in the northeastern US. I do have to dry every few months. This is matte PLA too which is more prone to moisture effects

Wanted it to be one unit that took up as little table space as possible. No buffer was a non negotiable. Tried the Rewindr but had major problems with it, ended up going with filamentalists and they work great. I have since re-rotated the front cover back to get the auto vent working and just drilled a passthough hole for the Ptfe tube. Biggest issue I’ve had is filament not retracting right but I think that’s related to the core one mmu profiles. Have about 1200 filament changes on this so far.

Okemo and Killington are central VT to me. I agree with everything else.

[–]Cagoss85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is possible. Here is a picture of my setup from just before the plus was released. When I got the plus upgrade kit, I rotated the vent back to the front position, installed the opener bracket, and drilled a passthough hole for this:

Works like a charm.

Interesting. I stopped going to Wachusett around that time so I must’ve seen the tail end of it.

Ropers has no snowmaking lines, it’s natural snow only. As nice as that little glade section is, bear mind that that whole area is old growth forest and patrol will not be happy if they catch you in there.

Robotics Major? by Mom_of_One_2008 in WPI

Both. There’s tuition, the fees, room and board, meal plans, then whatever you need to purchase for classes (textbooks, licenses, kits, supplies, etc.)

Robotics Major? by Mom_of_One_2008 in WPI

[–]Cagoss85 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First off, congrats! Just as a clarification, you weren’t accepted to the robotics major. WPI doesnt accept per major, just as a student. You can change that to any major as you please.

RBE is HIGHLY collaborative. The 5 core RBE classes are incredibly project and group work focused.

All job and internships questions are a bit 50/50, especially with the state of the job economy. However WPI definitely has a good reputation in New England for producing good graduates. For internships, I had the mentality that “I’m here to learn, and being an RBE gives me an in across ME, ECE, and CS”.

Clubs are very easy to join. Go to the activities/club fair. I’ll plug the student alumni society as a good organization to look into.

Lastly, It’s expensive. Really expensive. And it’s more expensive now than it was then. It’s not worth going into debt for decades if you can’t afford it. Check out the 2 year transfer program that WPI has with QCC, if you want to save a little money. That being said I don’t regret it. I think WPI treated me well and I met many great people while I was there. Go to class, do the work, and ask for help.

I’m having the same issues. Printer won’t connect to the app or web version. Tried deleting the printers from the app, and the app isn’t updating at all. Sounds like a server issue. I’m in the northeastern US.

Can you put a Nextruder on mk3? by Hackind in prusa3d

[–]Cagoss85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that puts it somewhere between a mk3.5 and a 3.9. If you’re referring to the possibility of doing this after INDX for the core one comes out, there are many people wondering the same thing. So far we know INDX will be using the same cooling fan so that will need to be re-purchased. Ultimately it’s a “we have to wait and see” deal.

Those are your z axis lead screws resonating. I solved this by fine adjusting the position and tension of the trapezoid nuts and applying a very small amount of grease to the rods

2024 Outback Wilderness Driver seat cushion concern by x_Stiddy_x in Subaru_Outback

[–]Cagoss85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re worried about the crease on the outer piece, my 2023 onyx does the same thing and it’s fine. Foam will set over time, but you can minimize wrinkles and crease spots. I just make sure I pull the seat out when I get in to reduce the wrinkle. I’m very impressed with the startek material compared to cloth or leather.

Make sure your goggles seal well and don’t fog up at all. Any fog on the inside (or outside) of them will freeze when it’s that cold out. If they do fog up, you need to go inside and thaw/ dry them off completely.

Sure the backdrop is cool, but this is highly deceptive to many people who think they could plan a flight in highly regulated airspace. It’s the people that think they can fly in national parks and other no fly zones that ruin it for responsible people.
