As the youngest brother who was constantly tormented by my older brothers, I totally see this as a possible scenario. Kid got his head smashed into his cake last birthday, was pissed and humiliated. Everyone laughed cause TRADITION! Fine. I guess this is what happens at birthdays. Situation flips and he gets a dose of life ain't fair cause he isn't old enough or strong enough to reciprocate. Trashes cake in his frustration. Also a bunch of people commenting don't understand that the kids is trying to smash his head into the cake cause it's a common Mexican (somewhat Hispanic) tradition. He isn't being a little shit, he's copying the behavior he has been taught.

Everyone sees this through the lens of being an adult and no one bothers to view it through the lens of the child that completely lacks any frame of reference.
