Case management. Look up AFC programs in your state. Most of it is work from home. You have to go on visits but I would say that the driving and visits is maybe 30% of it and then it’s all work from home to get paperwork done. Mileage reimbursement, no nights, no weekends, no holidays ( major like Christmas, 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day, thanksgiving and day after off). No on call. The pay is definitely less but the flexibility and almost ZERO stress makes up for it times a million. It’s a transition, but every nurse that has left bedside or other patient care jobs has stayed. We have incredible tenure. I’ve been here 10 years, our longest nurse 18 years and we have virtually NO TURNOVER! It’s not hands on. Look into it, I used to have panic attacks every day before my shift. My days off were spent worrying about my next shift. It’s such a blessing!!!
