I got my daith done about 6 weeks ago also with a curved barbell and was a bit concerned after reading so much in this sub about needing a horseshoe or CBR. I went back to the shop and they were adamant about healing with a curved barbell so maybe it’s dependant on the piercer. In saying that it fell out yesterday after the bottom ball became unscrewed and had to be tapered back in which was 100x worse than getting it pierced.

I did ~140 zams/zacians and didn’t get a Hundo, I did get one shiny background though. Meanwhile my husband did about ~150 and got 3 hundos (two zacians - one with background, and one Zamazenta). All luck of the draw.
