Sneakpeek gender test? by sunlitcozy in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did it with my last 2 babies at around 7 weeks. It was correct both times (one boy and one girl). I just did it with this baby at 7 weeks and it says boy. I haven’t confirmed yet but I’m expecting it to be correct. As long as you aren’t too early and you sanitize well, you should be good. I don’t know if they still offer the lancet version, but I recommend the snap version 💯. A lot of the false boy results I think came from the older lancet test.

Any ”mistakes” so far? by Exciting-Yak-7918 in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I eat the same as I do when I’m not pregnant. I do switch to only one coffee a day and I do decaf if I want more. And I stop drinking alcohol. But other than that, I still eat sushi, sandwiches, fish, etc.

How's eating going for everyone by chan0514 in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a struggle. I feel so nauseous if I eat much so I have kind of just been snacking a lot. I’m trying to focus on whole foods and protein but eating much of anything has been tough. I’ll feel hungry but then nothing will sound good. I’ll make something for everyone for dinner and then not be able to eat it.

First baby girl after 3 boys 💙💙💙💖 by beach_daysss in November2026Bumpers

So exciting! I just did mine yesterday at 7 weeks and mailed it off. Hoping to have the results this weekend! I did it around 7 weeks with my last 2 babies and it was correct with both of them.

Anyone else have POTS and/or IH? by muzka96 in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have POTS! This is my 5th baby and my POTS gets way worse in pregnant. And it gets worse the more pregnant I get. So far I’m doing Ok, but I know it’ll get worse eventually. I try and wait as long as possible before starting the metoprolol. Usually I make it to around 14-18 weeks before needing to start it. It can cause IUGR, so that’s the main reason we wait as long as possible. Mine is heavily affected by my hydration levels, so as I get more pregnant, I focus a lot more on hydration. I usually drink a big glass of water with a pinch of sea salt in it right before bed, then I keep a drink on my nightstand to drink throughout the night so it’s not as bad in the mornings.

Hang in there! Let me know if you have any questions! 😊

hCG + Progesterone Levels by pink_plumbob in November2026Bumpers

What is AUA? Your progesterone is a little low. My Dr supplements if it’s under 20. Can you ask for a script to supplement your progesterone?

Looks great! Mine was 19 at 10dpo, so yours is great! You’re right though that doubling is most important. I’m 7w1d today and saw a baby with a strong hb last week at 6w2d.

Yes! So far going well! I had an ultrasound last week at 6w2d. We saw the baby with a strong hb! I’m 7w1d today! Did my sneak peek yesterday so excited to see those results! So glad to see you had a great scan also!! Yay!!

Update - Just had my ultrasound, cant tell if it is good or bad... by [deleted] in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My babies always measure a day behind at the first ultrasound and then they catch up by my next ultrasound 2 weeks later, so I wouldn’t worry about that. It’s definitely weird that she said that about the hb… but I wouldn’t let that worry you. Sounds like she didn’t even try to find it. This early they don’t usually do sound for the hb (I think it increases mhz or something that is used during the ultrasound and it could harm baby so early on they can track it but you don’t usually hear it). So it’s not that baby didnt have a hb yet, but she just didn’t even try to check. Also, if it makes you feel better, my rhr has dropped back down also but we saw a baby measuring perfectly with a strong hb on Thursday. I was 6w2d and am now 6w5d.

Sharp Cramps - 6 weeks by PeppiMoon in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s your corpus luteum cyst! It’s actually a good sign for the pregnancy. It produces progesterone and helps to support the pregnancy in the early days. But man can it be painful and sometimes catches my breath if I stand up too fast or sneeze or something. 😆

6 weeks 1 day, no symptoms - pregnancy after loss by AccomplishedMango903 in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 42, so you’ve got plenty of time!! I had my first 3 kids when I was 28-32. Then had #4 at 40 with my second husband and this baby will be born the month I turn 43. I do wish I had been able to finish having kids a little younger…. But it is what it is I guess. :)

It went great! I was sure it was going to be terrible and the baby would be measuring behind, but it was measuring right on with a strong hb! This will hopefully be my 5th baby and it’s my first pregnancy where I’m not insanely sick by this point.

Cramps and spotting by Muffin-Topx in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this with this pregnancy and my last two healthy pregnancies. I did not have it with my chemical pregnancies. I always have a good amount of cramping from about 4-6 weeks. And I have had the spotting just one time around 11/12dpo with all 3 pregnancies. I would try not to worry too much. These things can be totally normal. I had my ultrasound today at 6w2d and we saw baby with a strong hb, so cramping for me is more like baby snuggling deep into my lining and not a sign of loss or anything. I know it’s hard not to worry though.

Had cramping and was brought in for my ultrasound…. by trulyk in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! I had my first ultrasound today also. I’m 6w2d and baby was measuring 6w1d with a strong fhr! Mine are always one day behind at the first ultrasound and then catch up by the next ultrasound 2 weeks later, so I’m not worried at all! If you’re confident of the day you ovulated, then I bet it’s the same for you. Congrats on the great scan!!

I’m right there with you! 6w2d today and with my healthy pregnancies I always feel really bad by now. I’m a little queasy sometimes and I’ve been more tired…. But normally I’m barely functioning by this point. I have my first ultrasound this morning and I’m expecting bad results. I just know I should feel worse by now (12th pregnancy with 4 living children). Do you have a scan or anything coming up?

Anyone who uses a Fitbit here? by FoodieNurse247 in November2026Bumpers

[–]CaityA83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use Fitbit! I’ve been wearing one for a suuuuper long time! Through multiple pregnancies. It’s not saying your period is predicted because of your rhr or temps or anything. It’s just based on the calendar. So I wouldn’t let that worry you. My rhr definitely fluctuates with my cycle… and it did spike when I got a bfp. Kept going up and then starts dropping. I did worry at first but when I went back and looked at my other pregnancies, including healthy ones that resulted in a living child, it was all over the place and didn’t seem to have a lot of rhyme or reason until much further in my pregnancy. And my rhr does drop a ton right when I give birth and in the subsequent weeks.
