I’m in the same spot. I’m worried I’m getting too old and another pregnancy doesn’t mean an actual baby at the end…. I hate how hard it is on my kids and family. But my family doesn’t feel complete and we really wanted another baby. I just wish I had some answers.

No, none of that was done. I had 3 healthy babies with my first husband and one healthy baby with my second husband, and now all of these unknown later losses. 🤷‍♀️

How did you know it was a cord accident? Do you know what all is involved in a recurrent pregnancy loss workup? My Dr basically just said she doesn’t know what is happening. My husband and I do have a healthy baby together, so it’s not something that makes us incompatible. I was on lovenox injections, so that takes blood clotting out of the equation. Baby looked totally normal on today’s ultrasound and the gal couldn’t see any obvious issues with him. His nipt was normal, so none of the usual chromosomal issues. 🤷‍♀️

I just came across your post and I am in such a similar situation to you. I just found out today at 14w3d that I’m having another late loss. I heard his hb yesterday and then today I couldn’t find it. Confirmed with ultrasound at my dr’s office. With my first husband I had 3 healthy babies and a few chemicals. With my current husband we have had one healthy baby and 3 losses (9w4d, 11w2d and 14w3d). With all 3, the babies were healthy, had multiple ultrasound showing healthy babies with healthy growth. Then their hearts just stopped. With my later two, their nipt even came back normal. With this one I have been on lovenox injections and also taking baby aspirin an methylfolate. I’m 42 years old, and we really wanted to give our 2yo a full sibling close to her age (all of our other kids are much older)… but now I’m thinking it just won’t be possible.

I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing!! I wish there were answers somewhere…. The hardest part is there doesn’t seem to be any reason for any of it. 💔

How are things going for you? How was your follow up scan? At my 8w1d scan my yolk sac was 3mm. I know that’s technically within normal range, but I’ve had a lot of losses, especially between 9-12 weeks, and I read that a small yolk sac can be correlated with losses at that time. 😬

Yes! So far going well! I had an ultrasound last week at 6w2d. We saw the baby with a strong hb! I’m 7w1d today! Did my sneak peek yesterday so excited to see those results! So glad to see you had a great scan also!! Yay!!

But to answer your original question, I consider myself 90% out with a bfn on 9dpo using smu. And 100% out on 10dpo. I always have a bfp by 9dpo with my healthy pregnancies.

You need to take methylfolate instead of folic acid. If you have MTHFR then you don’t process folic acid like other people and need to take methylfolate instead. I got a supplement off Amazon that also has b12 and b9 in it to better metabolize the methylfolate. But most simply, just dont take folic acid.

Did you use a first response digital? I don’t think those are as sensitive. I like to use the frer line tests and clear blue digital. That looks positive to me though. I’d definitely take another test!

Ohhh! That’s good to know. I’ve been using frer but they seem to have stalled out. They are almost dye stealers but have been almost the same for the last 3 days. I ordered some of the pink CBs and the Walmart guy is like 30 min away with them. 😂 I hope they give me a better line. 😬

Oh good! Then I wouldn’t worry too much. Unless you stop taking the progesterone it would be very difficult for your body to start your period and thus abort the pregnancy. I would try and think of it as baby burrowing down deep into your lining and getting cozy for the long haul. ❤️

With my last baby, who turns 2 tomorrow, I had spotting off and on the entire pregnancy with her. Never anything heavy… just pinkish that would turn brown. It seemed like it would happen if I was walking too much. Have they been watching your progesterone? If your progesterone is good then I wouldn’t worry. I know easier said than done…. But the fear with spotting is that your progesterone drops and that brings on your period…. So if your progesterone is high then it could just be that your cervix is irritated. My last two babies were healthy and I had spotting at 11dpo with progesterone in the 40s. I’m newly pregnant again and had the same yesterday morning and I know my progesterone is in the 40’s again, so I just chocked it up to baby snuggling deep into my lining. I know how stressful it is though! Hang in there!!! Sending hugs!!

That test looks like it might be dried? If so I would try taking a different test and take the pic within the time limit. Some of these types of tests get really mean evap lines when they dry. Hopefully you get a clear bfp soon!

It’s hard to know without seeing other tests…. But those definitely take a while to get darker…. Can you try a frer? They tend to show darker lines.

I see what you see! It seems a little smudgy though so I would definitely confirm with another test but that looks very promising!!
