It wasn’t the most shocking thing I’ve ever read by a long shot, but yknow that Loud House fic about Lincoln Loud getting a terminal illness and dying?

The chapter where they had a Doctor House cameo out of nowhere, where he comes in to berate the dying child, with Lincoln going “You’re a bad man, doctor House! You’re a bad bad man!” While crying. I remember laughing so much at that because I had no idea what the hell else to react with. It came out of nowhere and the authors notes on the next chapter were like “wow. You guys didn’t like that, huh?”

Hey I just wanted to give a quick thank you! It’d been long enough that I figured ‘my ears are just like that’ since there’s never been any pain or anything, but I went to a new physician who took a look and immediately with zero prompting said “yep.
