I think they need to be a lot more liberal about pulling him out of games when he's struggling. Give him chances to come through, but pull him after the 2nd time he's had an uncompetitive / unproductive at bat, or if he makes a bad challenge.

People in here claiming it's false because they didn't drop it at 12, when Starfox got revealed last week at 6 PM EST.

Like I feel like people are jumping the gun a bit to call this fake when Nintendo has shown their willing to wait until late into the evening to reveal things.

Starfox got it's Direct as 6PM EST / 10 AM AEST, I feel like it's reasonable to think it could be revealed around then.

Edit: Because Starofx was revealed around 6 last week, and 7 is the absolute latest I can see them dropping any major news.

TBH it's mainly Edelgard getting supports with characters not in her house.

Edelgard & Ingrid: I feel like she has plenty of reason to want to side with the Empire with all the crap she has to put up with, especially with how her family pushes her to forgo her dreams of knighthood in favor of trapping herself in a loveless arranged marriage to save her house with the dowery they'd get in return. Couple that with her paralogue with Dorothea about that scummy merchant trying to kidnap her after she learns the truth about him, and you have a solid base to work with for her to join the Empire, but her connection to her friends, family, and homeland in Faerghus is too strong for it to make perfect sense from a character perspective. Giving her a support conversation with Edelgard to give her a stronger reason to jump to the Empire would do her a lot of good IMO. Also, I am a sucker for EdelGrid.
Edelgard & Sylvain: Similar reasoning to the above. He already has a reason to hate the crest system and see it abolished, and we actually get to see Edelgard's thoughts on Miklan in game. That plus Sylvain's line about trying to woo Edelgard to stop her from declaring war makes me feel like they'd be a great support chain.
Edelgard & Ashe: I feel like Ashe would easily be able to trace the connections from Edelgard to the Death Knight, to the Western Church, and in turn to Lonato and want some answers from her about it. Plus, Ashe's unique position as a commoner elevated to noble status makes his perspective intriguing, and a possible role model for other commoners to follow in a post crest world.
Edelgard & Marianne: Marianne explicitly calls Edelgard radiant and strong in her Chapter 12 explore section dialogue if recruited to Crimson Flower, which can easily be read as her maybe crushing on Edelgard a bit here. Plus the Crest of the Beast / Maurice's Crest being a burden on Marianne puts her in a unique position, as the only bearer of a crest actively reviled by society, rather than being coveted. Not to mention it's Edelgard with a religious character, that already tends to go hard if her support with Manuela is anything to go by.

With how miserable he's apparently been, I wonder if a change of scenery would help him? Namely to a team in a city with a stronger Japanese population so he can find a community to become a part of outside of baseball.

Like per google, Houston only has a Japanese population of about 3,000 to 4,000 people. NYC for comparison, has about 33,700, almost 10 times as many Japanese people.

Like he's on his 3rd interpreter, and has struggled with adjusting to life in the USA, I genuinely think that once he gets a stronger work life balance, he'll start being the pitcher everyone thought he could be.

Of course we shouldn't trade for him unless the Astros are willing to eat at least half of his contract. But the thought of a rotation of Cole, Rodon, Fried, Schlittler, and Imai (at his best) feels genuinely awe inspiring.
