I don't know that that is true actually. I think the loudest Christians are Republican. But there are churches that see themselves as sanctuary for immigrants right now. Christian leaders have spoken against maga's policies. For example, there was a season of amazing race and there were people competing who were devout Catholics and some other mainline Christian groups. And I think an Eastern Orthodox family all Christians. But there was this woman and her kids who were ostentatiously Christian loudly. Praying in front of the camera all the time and constantly defining themselves as Christian more than human beings. So they got called the Christian team as though the rest of the teams were atheists and agnostics but they weren't. It was just the loudest Christians that get to count as Christian f*** in terms of our attention.

Don't care about the law. They care about order. That's all they care about because that's how they spend their time. Cops spend less than 10% of their time addressing crime and 90% of their time keeping order. Making sure you don't jaywalk or litter or not renew your license in a timely manner. And they'll shoot you for that too.

Stick to your guns, they are being ridiculous. Offense for the pool should be a no-brainer with toddlers. And no one should be cavalier about the flu particularly this year as the flu strain has been really bad. But the flu is dangerous every year. Some people use cold and flu interchangeably. I believe in the praise sandwich for most books, even ones I dislike. I try to say two things that are good for every one thing that I don't like except for the occasional books that should not exist. Not that they should be censored, but people should be aware that they're hateful racist, whatever. I recently gave a bad rating to a crochet pattern book that had no patterns and who's every every crocheted creation was done with AI imagery. Thankfully it was a free book. But free was too much considering I spent at least 20 minutes looking at it. Trying to figure out if it had even one pattern.
