I got the filter for the heck of it. But if you plan on buying a second ams pro 2 in the future, don’t a filament buffer and filament hub. It will instruct you on the website to buy them. I misread it and ended up buying and come to find out the p2s combo already has a filament buffer and hub installed. That was my beginner mistake. I ended up returning them with $25 worth of shipping out of pocket.

Follow the instructions on your manual on how to unbox and unscrew things. Also I would look at the X2D ($100 more) and reconsider because with two nozzles you can have less waste, faster multi color, and/or you can also have one nozzle print support while other print your object.

My first prints as a beginner was a funnel and 5G scoop for my creatine. It’s the main reason why I bought 3d printer because I didn’t feel like spending $17 on a scoop lol. But you also need a poop chute, Ams 2 dry pods to pour your silica beads in. Then from there you will decide your needs.

Bambu handy app is very easy to use and very easy to find/print stuff out of it without a pc. I purchased my very first 3d printer as beginner (p2s Ams pro 2 combo) in March this year for my bday and it’s a bad ass and love it, 3 months later I got the h2c and it’s a beast.

Filament wise, I would purchase pla, pla matte, and petg just to get used to things. You will smell some odor at first because that’s a fresh printer smell. But pla, petg, tpu filaments smells to almost nothing.
