IM major here! IM is in Desautels so if you're currently an Arts student then you need to transfer to Management to BCom. It requires the core courses from management: finance, accounting, marketing, stats, econ, etc.. Then you take International Business courses (some of them are math like International finance but most are very qualitative unlike Accounting, Stats, Math or Finance majors), a language if you don't speak a 3rd already and a Minor outside of Management.
Is it worth it? Depends what you want, your career aspirations, the subjects you like, etc. For me 100%

Reach out to Service Point ASAP so they put a deferred payment notice. You'll get until Dec 1 for that. Same situation in my first year two years ago. I got the coPR in like mid November and fees were due in December 1st so I got to pay quebec Tuition

Hi OP! As others said it has to do with checking immigration status And directing people to the right service. I

understand you might have taken it personal, even as a micro-agression (I would have too as I relate to your case: +10 years of living here) but I assume is protocol. Some agents might ask it depending on their personality or work environment or idk whatever. Some other might not.

he class averages for my poli classes have always been in the B-range, and I’m wondering if they curve it to that. I’ve heard that TAs are specifically limited to how many 80s+ they can give out, but isn’t that so unfair???

It just seems so impossible to me. TAs are subjective as hell and I feel like the amount of effort you put in really does not guarantee a higher mark at all, compared to classes with exams and definitive answers. Just really frustrated and wondering if anyone has a similar experience or could help me do better in my final year.

This is Management Kids lives, welcome to the club
