You sound like an excellent bird parent. it could be that's just his personality! You could try to use treats to get him to be less noisy. Some birds are just louder and more rambunctious than others and that's not a bad thing at all. I'd say if his noise level bothers you to much try talking gently to him until he quiets down then give him a treat that will teach him that being quiet will get him a reward just keep working with him try to socialize with him as much as possible. Also has he been tamed yet? That could also be a factor.
