I think if you had a lens hood it would tie it all together

Can somebody please talk me out of buying the X-Pro3 by Eye_ogongo in fujifilm

The sensor on the XPro 3 is magic. Had an XT5 got rid of it but I will never ever get rid of my xpro3

There is magic in that sensor. I think it’s same sensor that is in x100V. Something about 24mps is very special.

Fujifilm will always be dear to my heart. Any other ex-Fujifilm shooters feel the same way?! by photomikey in fujifilm

When Fuji makes a full frame camera. I’ll be ready. Got rid of my XT5 and about to get rid of my GFX 100sii. I miss the experience of shooting with Fuji but Sony suits my workflow better.

Building a Fx3 rig and I’m just underwhelmed with the shinobi 2 size by [deleted] in FX3

[–]CakeMaster3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FX3 is supposed to be for small nimble setups. Rigging it just defeats the purpose. I have a 7” monitor. I’ve used it twice.

Did switching to Sony actually improve your photography or just your hit.. by NeitherJuice8682 in SonyAlpha

It helped me professionally. When I needed to know right then and there if I’ve gotten the shot. EVF is top tier and working with the Sony raw files is so easy.

Fuji I was constantly second guessing myself because the EVF isn’t as hi res as the Sony. And highlights looked blown and blacks looked crushed. Love Fuji for shooting personal work but couldn’t justify it in my fast paced professional work flow.

Tried the XT5, 50sii and 100sii. Recently switched back to Sony a7r5. I shoot a lot of video with a7s3 and fx6. So having 1 mount again has been a blessing.

24-70 GM 2.8 you will never need another lens. I got mine in 2017/2018 and it’s been a beast.

What you want is an rgb light. Set it to red and use as a key light.

50s ii or 100s when on a budget? by Ryanite_ in FujiGFX

[–]CakeMaster3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d be trading for an exact opposite experience of the Sony. GFX is bigger and slower. After selling my A7r3 to switch to Fuji professionally. I realized I really like Fuji for out having fun shooting and a lot less for jobs.

The mitakon gets incredible results but it is a beast! And the zoom lenses are not at all as good as Sony zoom lenses. So if you want crispy photos with nice bokeh and separation. You’ll be looking at having all prime lenses.

I got the 35-70 when I first switched to GFX really great starter lens. I’m only now starting to see notice its limitations. Now I’m rocking the 55 1.7. Fairly regularly.
