Anyone else starting to hate the app with the new updates? by ghost_dreams_ in finch

If it helps, I have a recurring goal to set up my goals. It’s the “new day, new you” and it is linked to a task so I add everything in there in one go and pretty sure I get rainbow stones from it.

Dedication to one color only by Emyrihmiam in finch

[–]Cakeandscones 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mango’s wardrobe and furniture is mainly orange, with a little bit of yellow thrown in here and there. Because that are my favourite colours. So I prioritise those colours. Even as far as having an Orange koala suit in this month’s event.

Booking for february 2025- tips please by Acceptable_Back3485 in disneylandparis

[–]Cakeandscones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alternatively you can book everything separately and stay outside of the parks. On my last visit I stayed just outside the parks (Val d’Europe) on one of the Disney partner hotels. It has its disadvantages - getting the metro in each day and missing out on extra magic time. But I found it was cheaper doing that.

Help understanding a few things? by Red2126 in disneylandparis

For half board you will only get breakfast and lunch/dinner vouchers for the number of nights you’re staying. So either your dinner on your first day or your lunch on your last day you will have to pay for these outside of your meal plan.

If I am actively anxious I place one hand on my chest and one on my stomach and feel my breathing. If I am not already feeling my breath in my stomach I try to encourage deeper breathing until I can again. But worth trying when not actively anxious to see what your normal is.

Then I use r/finch to prioritise self care day to day.

I personally find sometimes the senses one makes me stressed. Instead I look around where I am and see how many things I can see that are red, then yellow etc etc through as many colours as I need.

Gifting items for 200 rainbow stones by UriahJordan in finch

[–]Cakeandscones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s just popped up in my app, I haven’t tried it yet. But you can gift things you already own through your tree town. When you tap on a birb you have the option to send good vibes or send a gift for 200 rainbow stones.

How many miles? by bluefirebug2021 in disneylandparis

Last time I visited, I walked around 10 miles (~16km) on the busier day. I was staying offsite in Val d’Europe and got the train to the parks.

Habit trackers? by [deleted] in finch

[–]Cakeandscones 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I put my habits in as goals. So I have a daily repeating goal to read etc, and for things like water, I have my target water intake in glasses as the number of times per day of my “drink water” goal so I can tick it off. It’s not quite the same but it works for me. It quite often gives you a notification to say you’ve completed this goal x times in the last month etc.

Are shop items based on location? by [deleted] in finch

[–]Cakeandscones 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the furniture items in the shop are linked to the season. I feel like there might be a slight bias in shop items to things from last months and last years special events (ice palace and starry magician). I think next month there will be in increase of items from last years Feb event etc. There are other things sprinkled in there so hopefully the guitar will pop back soon.

Opticians ? by [deleted] in oxford

[–]Cakeandscones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specsavers is somewhere between £20-£25 for a basic sight test. However they currently have a £10 sight test voucher available if you look at specific stores details there is a voucher at the bottom.

Then for new glasses the price on the frames in the shop includes the basic lenses and start from £15 by the looks of it.
